Why Anushka couldn't save JHMS?

As an Anushka fan, and not a Deepika fan..I say Deepika in Tamasha > Anushka in JHMS anyday.

Deepika in Tamasha was really good. I liked Ranbir a lot more but Deepika really brought the best out in her character and I say this as someone who barely likes her work. I could connect with Tara whereas with Sejal, you try to but you can't. Deepika emoted effortlessly in my opinion. I also think Imtiaz actually was more in his senses while writing Tara as opposed to writing Sejal. Deepika's emotional scenes in Tamasha were some of my favorites. She added so much to the song Heer toh badi sad hai with the way she emoted.

Anushka clearly chose Sejal over Tara due to her getting a more full fledged role with the former..but, a poor choice in my opinion. JHMS is weak in all aspects. SRK who excels in this genre can't seem to save it let alone Anushka.

Yeah! Chennai Express such a stupid movie but fun because SRK and DP got strong chemistry (and both of them very good actor) . HNY too.. such a stupid movie, but people love SRK+DP.

Cos she is painfully average at everything she does, till date only BBB stands out, in a career spanning almost 10 years. Plus there is her obnoxious, entitled personality to boot, someone described it right, her mouth looks reptilian post surgery. Every year is supposedly her year, yet with Kat done and dusted, DP not even there, even then she couldn't relinquish the top spot. She has no presence nor any profound acting talent, Phillauri that was touted to be the Piku equivalent for her was a 1 dimensional performance with no depth, Diljit stole the show despite a half baked script.

Every time she is hyped it turns out to be tai tai phis..

Piggybacking on actors is her forte.

I wouldn't even call her an average. She is forgettable in most roles but in JHMS she is irksome.

I think this the reason why Imtiaz like Deepika & Ranbir so much. Both brought his mission of Tamasha to another level with their understanding of Dev & Tara character.

I think Anuska can do better if she understand Sejal.

Anu is another mediocre actress praised to sky high just liek Ranbir. She could not save her Phillauri what will she save JHMS?

SRK fans mocked Anu during Sultan and now their support is 🤣 they would have easily bitched now but kya kare ALR movie mein bhi to hai. After ALR movie also bevomes flop Anushka will be called all names by same people 😆
