Why Anushka couldn't save JHMS?

I think she held well on her own and did pretty good with PK, Sultaan and even ADHM. Two are ATBB and one could be Superhit I guess? Right now she is one of industry's top lady so even I am a bit shocked what the hell happened here. What went wrong with her pairing with SRK? Even Jab Tak Hai Jaan was a lack luster and she could not generate her Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi magic with him.

It's not Anushka, it's SRK.

This aint a mocking GIF, this is rather to explain the situation that when an overgrown man doesn't play roles of his age, it doesn't work. It didn't work for Joey in 30's wanting to play a 19 yr old. It aint gonna work with SRK a 50 yr old man wanting to act like 35-40 yr old. 😆

I think the golden era of Bollywood has just begun. I have always wanted to see where good movies get appreciated and bad movies fail. I think people have collectively risen up and broke down barriers and unilaterally said NO to shit movies loud and clear. Movies like Tubelight, Jagga Jasoos, JHMS etc were unanimously rejected even by some fans which is good to see. They are demanding movies and content like Baahubali, Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijan, Lipstick etc where they feel their money's worth not just in a very good storytelling but also some grandeur. If producers and directors are still not able to hear this then they are living in denial. We the people deserve better.

Some actors and actresses couldn't the same recreate magic in their previous films due to the bad script and story. It was like that with Dilwale with SRK & Kajol in my opinion. Audience are demanding better content these days. The World has changed, you know.

As far as Anushka goes, my advice is for her to work with one of greatest actors in Indian Cinema Ajay Devgan. The reason why I'm saying is because of this-----------

Anushka is a decent actress but never a crowd puller. The taste of audience has changed , they started opting good movies over stars.

Because she is overacting ki dukaan? Maybe because she is extremely one dimensional and has no versatility!? Maybe because people are bored of her!? Maybe because she is not pretty!? Maybe because she comes across as an insecure and annoying person offscreen? Take ur pick!

Firstly, Anushka and SRK have no chemistry together. How moronic is it to make a romantic comedy and make it centre around such a bland pair? Romantic comedies are mainly about good pairings+decent story. Imtiaz has failed in both. Also, Anushka has never been a bankable actress. None of her solo stuff has done particularly well without the Khans. Alia is more bankable than her. Anyway, not even top male stars can save bekar films these days, how will the female stars? The BO verdict of the film hasn't come out yet, it can very well be a hit for all you know.

Yeah, that's nice. Anushka deserves to work with Ajay Devgan rather a mindless Rom Com with the same character. That's why want her this film Tanaji.

Tanaji is the most awaited movie of the year and Ajay desesves more than anything because one of the greatest in Indian Cinema. This film show people why he is 2x National Award Winner.
