A completely BS article written by some frustrated blogger 😆

How come people here are not getting offended that audience is being called so dumb and clueless that they can be tricked into making someone a superstar? 😲

First of all, Ranbir was never called a superstar, only Khans, Akshay, Ajay are called superstars, younger generation actors none of them are called superstars yet 😆
They will have to survive hits and flops and keep on doing movies and have stardom for 20 yrs to get that title of Superstar.

So the article is based on a lie to begin with
and its funny how the writer completely leaves out RK's best film Barfi, even he felt hesitant to bash Ranbir for Barfi 😆

And Ranbir is definitely the BEST actor of the younger lot so he can be called a Super Actor not a Superstar.
His best performances were in Barfi, JJ, WUS, Rajneeti and Rocket Singh
He excels in subtle acting, not overacting as some of his peers tend to do.. .

His BO successes have been hit and miss, his last film ADHM was a hit so hes not out of the count yet
If 2 or 3 flops makes him out of the game then a lot of other actors should be out too 😆

Well I also dont think very high of RK neither do I think he is the 'next big thing' of BW. Yes he was hugely promoted everywhere and I was surprised to see some of the top actors and actresses of previous generation to pick RK as the best actor beating all seniors 🤣 Audience is intelligent enough to show RK his position in last 6 movies ag least 🤪

However, few of his movies have real good performance from him - WUS is evergreen movie and so is Rocket Singh. Cannot agree with the writer on YJHD too, lovely movie and yes RK tried his best to match upto Deepika's performance which is huge itself 🥳 Not so impressed with Barfi or Rockstar, but again nice performance in Tamasha although that movie flopped.

He is indeed a product of nepotism and if not for his khaandaani daddy's of generations, he wont have survived after giving so many flops at one go.

So why stop at Ranbir then?
What about everyone's favorite, Aamir Khan? Isn't his family in showbiz? Didn't he get QSQT because of famiily? Isn't India's current biggest star (not sure actually, post Tubelight) Salman Khan a product of nepotism as well? What about the very obvious example of Hrithik?

And those posts saying Ranbir is talentless, worse than Alia and Varun..Ranbir can not do Varun's roles, or wait, at least Alia has zero competition amongst female starkids - LOL! The irony. Furthermore, this article makes no sense whatsoever. How is choosing an offbeat film connected to a propaganda? The writer of the article also makes snide comments on how Ranbir has nothing to offer in these "offbeat movies" either. Clearly not a fan - which is fine. And, at a time where all Bollywood can think of is nepotism this and that, plus Ranbir just had a release..so let's just throw in how even someone who is trying to prove their worth as an actor despite being a product of nepotism is wrong.

Bottom line should be just finish off Bollywood. More or less, everyone is connected to someone else.

Acting ability is a subjective matter

But box office results speaks the fact. Why are people acting delusional regarding this matter?

Yes, it was too early to declare him as a superstar. However, I'll still maintain that Ranbir is one of the finest actors in BW and better than his contemporaries. He just needs to be more experimental while choosing roles.

So nepotism does help star kids in a huge way. Alia got a Highway after the trashy SOTY and Ranbir got a WUS/Rajneeti after the horrific Saawariya only because of their lineage. They get a lot of chances to proves themselves while the ones like Ileana who are talented and had a brilliant debut (Barfi) end up doing crappy films cos they are left with no other option. But to actually go as far as saying Ranbir being hailed as a good actor is just perception and the gullible public is being brainwashed into praising him- I have no words 😆 So because there is a nepotism debate going on and most star kids are being obnoxious about their privilege, lets also discredit their talent and success and dismiss it as perception. The whole point of nepotism is the fact that talented ones dont get the opportunity they deserve because talentless star kids are shoved down out throat. So even if there is a star kid who despite the unfairness of it all is talented and praised by people, lets dismiss it as propaganda. Cos the only reason we can praise a star kid is because we are being fooled and brainwashed into it. Not because he is say talented or done brilliant work in the past. Nice. I think nepotism sucks and despite liking Ranbir, I wont deny that his surname immensely benefited him. But to actually dismiss his talent and say people like him cos of perception and the gullible public were forced to praise his performances- I have no words 😆 This is like a Nolan film now. Am confused whether I was brainwashed back then to believe RK is a good actor after a few hits or am being brainwashed right now to believe he sucks after a few disasters 😆

I think he just can't pass of doing massy roles. Not for him. Most superstars often appeal to both but when you can't impress the single screen audience. You won't get near superstar tag
