I've posted about this here before... During 2010 Commenwealth Games held in India, African countries complained about getting second-class treatment, given inferior accommodation compared to other 'white' teams,

They said India was complaining about being victims of racial bias in the reporting of the Games; while simultaneously perpetrating the same kind of racism against the African countries.

It's like africans visiting India face racism from top officials to the common man 😕

Atleast Yami didn't accuse people of other countries of racism like some actress, after appearing in fairness cream commercial herself 😛

A lot of people get love for a lot of reasons. Fairness is probably one of those reasons. but not an enduring one. There are so many more ways to get love and acceptance too. It is for people to realize it.

Agree with her but I don't think fairness cream can do any better to lightening the skin.

oh yeah saying if u r not fair you wo'nt get job offers,wo'nt get promoted,wo'nt get good guys rishtas,wo'nt get noticed in functions, darkskinned boys will be rejected by every girl they propose,mocked by everyone in college etc are not at all offensive😛promoting becoming fair is the key success to anything in life is not 1 percent offensive,it's so sweet n liberating😃

Nowadays the fair and lovely ads are actually better. I mean it's like gora nikar Minto mein or bina make up looks beautiful. Going by my choice, my decisions it's once choice whether they want to use it or not. The ads doesn't show dark skinned gals as ugly then it's fine. What I mean is nobody should feel insulted after watching the ads.

If not Yami someone else would do those ads. Companies need to be blamed for making such products. Every brand has come up with fairness products because it is one of the highest selling products, the demand is because everybody wants to be fair.
