Neither actors nor cricketers should give statement and it is best for both-them and country
Actors and cricketers are celebrated as GOD in our country and their statements are twisted like anything-every media channel gives it a new meanings and also if they give statements the focus is shifted to them and fan-wars happen.
like now, the whole focus is shifted from actual problem to cinema n actors
People is busy slamming BW but no one is thinking why our politicians are not doing anything

p.s About Fawad not wishing Indian fans, i wud love if he wishes but if he won't thats ok too, he rarely comes on twitter and most of the tym to wish for movies

Pray tell me why are Fawad's thoughts on it so important that this forum is going bonkers over it for so long? May be we should try and not make these actors the ultimate entities whose opinions are too important and should be pondered over again and again and again. Unless he indulges in some criminal activity or passes some insenstive comments, let him do his thing and stay silent as he wishes. Jeez! I have been staying away from these topics but this forum is somehow making it a Fawad issue since so many days. How much more would these crucial issues be trivilaized to this extent.

Kisi pe to frustration dikhana hai na? Actors/actresses are easy targets...disrupt shows...boycott movies etc etc.
Yes all indians are sad because of what happened...but activists like MNS simply want to cash on the situation...they can't fight against terrorism themselves...they can't go to border as well...in fact they can't do anything to politicians and powerful people...but have to do something..right? So for now boycott movies which have pakis. Easiest thing to do. Its not related to pakis stars...film industry is the easiest target for anyone. They can simply disrupt the shows which will affect loss to producers/distributors and they will get scared. But how this is going to help the country against what happened and other terrorist activities are beyond understanding.

Not all actors, but those who put themselves in the spotlight by offering political views on certain issues, will obviously be expected to take a stand on another political issue.
If Aamir Khan can take sides with the activists on the Narmada Dam issue, then why won't the media and junta expect him to react on the Uri Terror Attacks?

The actors who don't comment about any social issues are generally not expected to take any kind of stand on anything political. But those who do take a stand, cannot afford to be selective. If they offer their views on one subject, then they will certainly be asked to comment on something as serious as an attack on our country's army.

the backlash Aamir faced wont allow him to speak...no one wud want to face the same things again so may be that is the reason to keep mum

It must be really about the backlash he will have to face back home from his people...Already he must be facing a lot of negativity about him extensively working in India and not just that but taking up bold characters like playing a gay etc...

Not just Fawad, I haven't seen any kind of communication, wishes etc from any of the Pakistani actors like you get to see very often from a lot of Indian actors...

isnt this like double standards...you live here for sometime...earn money from us...pay tax to Pakistani government, who is probably using that money to fund terrorists, who will eventually attack us...and you dont even care to wish us on our independence day.

I always feels one should show respect for their Karma-Bhoomi. I am a goan, but born and bought up in mumbai and Whatever I florished in life in career, its cause of the opportunities i got by being in mumbai...so I should always respect Mumbai for that...same thing applies to countries as well.
