Tujhpe ek ehsaan kar raha hu tu kisi 3 logo pe yeh ehsaan karna. Please mat dekhna yeh movie. Koi suspense hi nahi. Shuru se aakhir tak everything as I imagined. Bakwas acting. Even the auntie wasnt hot looking.

I grew up in India, and thoroughly enjoyed all KJo movies, which are typically categorized as for the NRI audience!
Now I live outside India but my preference hasn't changed. Loved Wake up Sid, YJHD, and now looking forward to ADHM. Maybe I just love KJo too much 😆

Maybe people abroad see it as novelty so it intrigues them but for people back home they face a few issues and they go through it so many times that they dont want to go to theatre to watch the same shit all over again (this is what I was told) and it stuck a chord because it made sense eventhough I dont agree much about it. For me there is too many Hollywood movies so there is no dearth of action, romantic, comedy or sci fi or horror. Yes I do watch other big budget movies too but will be indifferent about it.

Maybe it is true for some...but it is not like gospel truth...forme, it really depends on what kind of cinema I feel like watching at that moment...I can't watch Masan any time I choose...but I have watched it sometime I was in the mood for movies like that n I liked it too...but usually I'll prefer a light n entertaining movie...I love the golmaal series of rohit shetty...fun... 😊

Loved Lootera but love Sultan too. It is the best of both worlds.
I watch all sorts of movies if they can keep my attention. Korean, Greek, Mexican or whatever. An enjoyable movie is an enjoyable movie no matter what anyone says.

What I don't like is when people start acting egoistic just because they like some sort of films and disregard everything else. It just is so arrogant. Life is short, let people watch things they enjoy watching.

Just because someone likes some hollywood models or listen to The Beatles all day doesn't mean they are superior to someone who listens to chamkiley songs like Sari ke fall sa. And a person who is into masala movies is not more fun than someone who likes art movies. Goes both ways.

Oh and my bf has lived in abroad for awhile and he had told me that he used to watch the masala type of movies cos it reminded him of the colorful, cultural and larger than life India

And sometimes it's all about the mood. You won't listen to the Bohemian Rhapsody while partying, right? 😆 You'll listen to some catchy pop song

That's a good point. One of the reasons I watch Bollywood movies is because I am not a fan of sci fi or superhero movies, which Hollywood loves to make! Bollywood is my only escape since they aren't into these genres in a big way... YET.😆
