I am a desi girl leaving in India and I love Massan, Madaari, Maanjhi and most off beat movies.

I do love masala films as well but only when it makes some sense and not some crap in the name of comedy.

So you cannot differentiate people based on where they live, it differs from person to person.

many nri prefer masala flicks as most watch bollywood movie with family,they prefer khan movies the most imo

Son of soil Desi: Born in Desi and living in Desi- Dil in desi or videsi

Confused Desi: Born in non-desi, living in non-desi, dil in desi and videsi

Kabira desi: Born in Desi. living in videsi but dil in desi

@bold. I have no words. A Hollywood movie doesn't equal quality ; likewise a Bollywood movie isn't necessarily bad.
