Who is bigger star ? Leo or SRK ? - Page 5

Love Leo but some of the comments here...lol! Oh he talks about climate change so he's bigger, he has an Oscar, he doesn't dance at weddings...oh okay! There are plenty out there who have done a whole lot for different causes out there! Just because some here don't happen to know about them doesn't mean they don't do their part. As for winning an Oscar, he should have won that awhile back! So no , winning an Oscar doesn't say anything about your stardom! It does say a whole lot about your skills as an actor though:) As for dancing at weddings...ha! Yeah he makes no apologies about it. What's the difference anyways at dancing at a wedding and an award show? At the end of the day someone is paying you whatever they are because you're entertaining them. We should have more such polls though, they always bring up some amazing comments :)

I think it would have to Leo. Titanic was HUGE. I've yet to meet a single person who actually hasn't heard of the Titanic. It's basically become a cultural phenomenon (or maybe it's just my age deceiving me because Titantic was literally one of the biggest movies when I was growing up -- all of my contemporaries, even those in non-Western countries have heard of it, dunno about the younger generation though).

Having said that, Leo is still a thousand times bigger star than SRK , at least IMO .. It's wrong to compare the two .. It's indeed wrong to compare any Bollywood star with big names in Hollywood, it's embarrassing indeed ..

So much confusion here when its not at all needed - Yes, Leo is known as an actor more than a star unlike SRK who is a bonafide star - that numbers that I have put makes that clear too

You can compare the stars of any industry nothing wrong with it as long as you know the positions of respective movies or stars vis a vis their industry. Its not like Titanic made 2 Billion worldwide so convert it into rupees and add entire SRK filmography to equal it (that's stupid) - Its where Titanic stands (number 1 position) where does a DDLJ stand? Number 1 of the year and number 2 of the decade (not that it made 55 Cr or whatever - that's not how you compare)

So again how many opening day and week records does Leo have with respect to his industry and how many SRK has in Bollywood - the number of films is all that matters here not if its for example 33 Million or 39 Cr (39 cr is a record for Bollywood, is 33 M record for Hollywood?)

How many films of Leo are in the top 5 highest grossing movies of the year domestically - ek, do, teen ya chaar - how many SRK has ?

How many films of Leo have opening day/opening week records - not even one? - No need to say about SRK - So who is the biggest star among the two
