Your example is not at all in sync with what I am asking. You agree Afzal is terrorist? You agree whoever is sympathizing with Afzal is anti national? You agree whoever says Afzal is innocent is anti national? You agree whoever supports this kind of anti nationals is also anti national? Then by that logic you agree BJP is also anti national?? If yes then say it why only behind of students who don't have enough power? Don't have different rules for different things?
Let the students get their punishment if they did shout anti India slogans. Same way let the PDP get punishment and in turn BJP. Because PDP has supported and still supports all those separatists who have openly called for Kashmir's azaadi from India, and have named Indian state as monsters. You will get a lot of it if you search with unbaisedness.
Letting go of a bigger fish and catching and sensationalizing a smaller fish is not justice or not nationalism either.

Anyway, AAP and Congress have made fool of themselves by standing with the anti-nationals. How can you go to sit besides those 100 something students who were supporting Bharat Ki Barbadi & Bharat Ke Tukde. They have fallen flat on their face.

And people be like, how can they arrest Kanhaiya? For god sake, even though he might not be the one who shouted these slogans, he was present there and was the leader of one of the associations involved. Why the hell would police not arrest him. It's fine if he turns out to be innocent but there is nothing wrong at the moment in arresting him.

Arnab himself has accepted and put a 46 seconds disclaimer later to his whole debate that the video is unverified. It's already a old news. The present news is the eye witness of university security guards who heard the anti national slogans and saw Umar and Anirban in that.

No fault in arresting Kanhaiya but already declaring him as the culprit and media trailing is wrong. Abd till now they don't have the proof of barath ke tukde tukde kardenge which is a exaggeration. Also it's not clear whether actually these students shouted the slogans or someo other people because security guards have seen few ppl with their faces covered with clothes shouting slogans. But still Umar and Anirban will be held on radar because they are the organizers.
This whole thing could be done the same way without sensationalizing and branding the whole university as anti-national. Just to cover up the failures of govt they make every issue big and try to polarize people. Hindutva first and now nationalism.

Yechury spoke today because yesterday after Smriti's speech they didn't get a chance to speak and congress had already done a walkout. Before Smriti's rhetoric emotional talk there was a very well speech by Sugatha Bose which had a lot of content. To be honest Smriti's speech was more about shifting the blame on congress, 80% of her speech just said your UPA did it. The only few things she spoke was making sense that was those religion clashes text books for kids and politicizing the college campuses. Unfortunately she forgot her party does the latter thing rampantly. Even her take on JNU row made sense as she had fact sheets but she spoke a blatant lie with confidence and drama, emotion incase of Rohit case. Because she just can't deny the same 'child' yesterday she was repeating many times was called anti national by her in her letters. I want her and Rohit's mother to talk face to face, truth will be known.

Modi has surprised me when he keeps mum on his party members loud mouths and doing unpredictable moves. But in a bigger picture, he knows what he is doing. Politics is dirty and its easy for us to hate politicians, but its a dirty job and some1 has gotta do it. Do u want a spineless predictable leader who cant play poker let alone chess or do u want some1 who keeps his nemesis in check and work for Country's best interest? Who keeps u guessing.

Turk- Afghan- Pak- Indo pipelines, GST, India's 7% economy growth and its diplomatic and military prowess increases are some the issues that developed world will put on priority. But its more abt JNU and Jatt. None of it is new and none of it will ever have long time impacts. Worst thing for Modi wud be to indulge in such issues which will never be productive. The machinery to deal with these issues is well in place, let them deal with it. The morning tea/breakfast headlines r plenty for ppl to energize and then laid back watching 6 pm news.

Modi is on the other road(s). To gain economic foothelds, its ok to shake hands with enemy for within or outside. On socio- political issues, let every1 be busy and keep guessing when will Modi will open his mouth. U guessed it right.. just before next general elections, with his progress card in hand. Ppl will realize how stpd the issues like JNU and intolerance were. It should die its natural death.

The blind hatred towards BJP is such that some P-sick-asurs wanna see India disintegrate. But intheir nightmares.. India will progress and before they know it.. it will be " Modi sarkar baar baar, lagataar"..

All opposition want him to side track and burry his efforts in the petty issues created for very purpose of destruction. But he wont budge. And when he will open his mouth, the opposition would wish he was better when he was quiet. Coz every1 knows what a narrator he is! He can actually score many browny points here with his one-liners. But nah... save it for later.

In the end, what matters is India's progress. Congress reduced India to deal with more problems that has no solutions in 65 years and now in just 2 years, Modi is expected to be the next coming of Lord Krishna.. that is quite a compliment.

So, back to JNU. Do U think Kanhaiya will be a future PM? discuss.😆
