Sushma usually has content in what she speaks but Tulsi just has rhetoric and nautanki. The reason she shines is she doesn't have anyone against her like Pranab, Kapil etc. Sushma is much better because she stood her ground against equally articulate Pranab and Kapil unlike Smriti who has no one to contend her. The new lot of congress is disappointing.

I didn't see either AAP or Congress justifying any anti national things. All they are against is arresting the student leader who isn't involved in it and not taking action against the lawyers who beat him up. The BJP is playing a victim card here as its a lone fighter for country and whole other India is against them. And the gullible people will buy it with a lot of sympathy. If the govt is really is concerned about nation so much then why form a alliance with PDP in Kashmir?? PDP is the greatest pro-Afzal who called him martyr and termed his hanging as travesty of justice. For power BJP is formed govt with them in coalition, if they were so nationalist they should have let go off their power instead of forming govtment with PDP. Hypocrites teach others nationalism.

@bhavnahm...you are again doing exactly what you blame others of doing...you have declared Kanhaiya innocent without being aware of all the facts based on your selective prejudices. It is evident that the information we are receiving is distorted and propagated by vested interests on both sides and our processing of it is defined by our biases and pre-conceived notions. Why are we not letting the law take its course?? Or have you no faith in the judiciary either???

BJP people teaching Nationalism? and we have to learn from them? really? The issue started with Anti-Indian slogans and Opposition supported the students who did that. and I am simply not taking Kashmir issue. you can go back and read all arguments. too much headache.

They wouldn't if over enthusiastic BJP/RSS/ABVP followers hadn't pitched for 'shut down JNU'. Who will tolerate if the whole university is getting targeted, it's clear that the right wingers wanted to shut down the university as its anti RSS, so they got a reason and made it a big issue with their mount piece channels like Zee news and Times now by blaming the whole university, which United the students and teachers.
During UPA times also one student of JNU was slapped with sedition charge for naxal links and the students protested then too but it never got sensationalized much because media didn't try to brand the whole university as naxalites as the present govt sponsored media tried to do. Since nobody sensationalized and nobody attacked the whole university, nobody put the students behind the bar for being anti congress, nothing of this happened.
BJP and RSS should slow down on their rhetorics and focus on what they promised. When Hindutva couldn't fetch them much they have retorted to nationalism.

I didn't say Kanhaiya is innocent, what I said is without any proof ppl started branding him anti national. Arnab endorsed the doctored video to do this. Let the court decide why do you have to delcare him anti national without proof?? Why brand the whole university anti national? As you said isn't it the pre-conceived notion?? Let the law take its course till then don't brand anyone anti national and endorse their mob beating unlawfully.

I am not supporting BJP. I am only opposing those people who raised slogans and then gave that event a whole anti-government dimension which was unnecessary. see here is the same issue- if I am opposing those student and want action against them then you are taking me as a Pro-BJP person.

Caste, religion, nation and everything - every small issue is being given an anti-government turn.

Who spread you the information that they shouted anti India slogans?? Just like that you believed? Who sensationalized it? Isn't the BJP fringes over sensationalize it? Did the court yet declare them anti national? I am not saying the students are very innocent, JNU is known to have a few extreme leftist who and they are capable of talking against a country because they don't believe in nation, religion etc, for them only humanity even if it is for a criminal. But what the govtment sponsored media did is very wrong, making ppl form judgement with the fake videos, branding the whole university as anti national. Isn't it playing politics to polarize ppl. If they were sure who shouted anti national slogans catch them, bring them to court and let the court decide. Don't go on saying things based on assumptions and brand everyone anti national who is against the govt. The way BJP has made ppl to think is now anything against govtment is anti national. That's dangerous.
