Was Kajol offered devdas? - Page 3

I am a fan bt I cnt imagine kajol being that lame lol. Bt wow 2 films withsalman khamoshi and hddcs. Hddcs was just meant to be for aish and salman. Bt would have loved her to do something like khamoshi. She would have been perfect.

She was offered Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Aish was perfect as Paro... glad Kajol rejected...😆😉

Aish was born to play Paro, she was picture perfect and did a stupendous job. No one could have done a better job. Same with HDDCS, Nandini is iconic.

OT: Don't think she was offered. I remember SLB saying in the interview that how Kareenaa landed at his house asking him to give the role (even came dressed as Paro YES!) but he rejected her saying he thought Ash was perfect for the role and wouldn't cast anyone else.

No no no!!! I love Preity and SRK and thought they were suited to the T in Veer Zaara. Plus it helped fuel my obsession for Aman and Naina from KHNH!

I think Devdas had the perfect cast in Aish and Madhuri for their roles. With all the flaws and gimmicks of a typical SLB movie, Aish looked beyond eternal and no actress has matched that beauty on screen, imo. Also I don't think Dola Re would have been such a rage with Kajol? I mean even my niece, born a decade later is fascinated w/ the song.

No Kajol was the first choice. She got pregnant and the movie was then offered to Kareena who was dumb enough to turn it down and give a chance to Preity to undeservingly become numero uno.
