I know Kajol was offered many films and she did rejected a lot them, But last week I read somewhere on the net that Kajol was the first choice for Park's role and at that time Ajay was supposed to play the role of devdas
Honestly it would have been interesting to see Kajol in Paro's co I just cannot imagine her in such a role

Yes as much I love her and she is beautiful bdw, I can't imagine her in any period role for that matter
Also was she offered veer zaara?
That's one film I wished she had done and also Mohabatien

Mohabbatein I dont mind but damn Kajol would have been perfect as Zara... Preity did a phenomenal job but SRK and Kajol as Veer Zara would have been just love❤️

That role was meant for Aish only and she pulled it off with grace. If she was really offered the role, I am glad she rejected. I can't imagine her as Paaro. She would have looked funny and dola re...lol..that would be hilarious.

Yes she was the first choice. Apparently according to rumors she rejected it because of Ajay Devgan who was pissed that SLB didn't offer him the role after working with him in HDDCS. Not only that but she was also offered Khamoshi and HDDCS. I guess SLB gave up after that.

Anyways, like everyone said, IMO she doesn't fit the role of Paro. She is not pretty enough and cant dance for nuts. I think the whole "chaand mein daagh" required a very beautiful actress to pull it off. Plus the movie has an unhappy ending and i don't think i would want that for SRK-Kajol. The role was meant for Aishwarya cuz she fits Paro's beauty and can dance her ass off.
