I can't see him as Kabir Singh! I try to picture him and all that comes to mind is his character from Singham 3, Zubair.

Onscreen however, he is just terrible and no way could he have done KS..Shahid killed it!

KS was a college going student. Shahid not only aced the part, he looked the part too. It would have been buy-one-get-one-free offer if Arjun Kapoor was cast. And Arjun & Boney did try a lot, but it didn't work.

He wouldn’t have suited the role anyway

Boney Kapoor and Arjun put a lot of pressure on Vanga. However, Vanga was adamant that he did not want Arjun Kapoor . Vanga had also asked Arjun to lose weight which did not happen.

Thank god he did not do it!
