Dilwale has opened to outstanding numbers in the overseas markets, further establishing Shah Rukh Khan as arguably the biggest crowd-puller outside the domestic market.

Inspite of competition from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (a record money-spinner globally) and our very own Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale has recorded the second highest opening weekend of all time, only behind the 2013 film Dhoom 3.

It's also the highest overseas opening of 2015, ahead of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. In UAE/GCC, Dilwale has managed to achieve the biggest opening of all time.

Note: The difference between India gross' figures includes entertainment tax, India net' figures are released after deducting tax. For the worldwide gross, we add overseas gross to India gross.

But outside in the real world, people still love SRK Kajol and they are rushing to watch the movie. Now that protests have calmed down, Christmas hols is coming up in 2 days, more families will go to watch DW as its a fun movie, ideal for holiday cheer.

DW has repeat value because of the high entertainment quotient. Also family and kids will love DW while BM is more for intellectuals and grown ups.

I really didnt want the movie to end, the last scene was so sweet and romantic, I just wanted to go on staring at Srk Kajol and grin like crazy.😆I wish Shetty had given us 10 mins more of happy, lovey dovey scenes between the two. Mann bhar jaata!
