HR and his contemporaries all suffered setbacks because of monopoly of the Khans in the industry.

Even HR was hounded for his flops while 2 of the Khans got away with giving multiple flops in a row.

HR has become wary and does only 1 movie in one or 2 yrs...he has lost his mojo I feel...

Fardeen was good-looking and good actor too, so was Aftab but they both faded away. Fardeen reportedly had other problems, drug issues etc.

Abhi still survives because of family name, hes still getting side hero roles

John still does B grade action flicks.

The new young actors wont fade, they are here to stay, Khans are getting old, graduating to mature roles, new ones have their own fans so they will survive.

Even this UGLY Duggu would have failed hadn't a le le le Papa Roshan and his magical calculator appeared everytime he fall flat on his face. Too bad others didn't have such one of a kind calculator to rescue their drowning boat. #PapaRoshanFTW. Aish Papa sabhi ko de... ;)

Because the charisma of Hrithik was massive .. he had Only one bad year, that was 2002 which was just his second year in bollywood..

yes his father's film gave him a stability but all his super stardom and achievements can't be only because his father helped him ut.. Even Amitabh bacchan helped Abhishekh, Feroz khan helped Fardeen, Ekta kapoor and Jitendra helped out Tushar, YRF helped Uday and Jimmy , Shahid kept on doing multiple films too after being bebo's lover , and how many of these did actually become a superstar or even a close competition for Hrithik ? Nobody actually ..

There is still a reason that why bollywood has not seen a superstar after Hrithik ... 😛

HR had that superstar aura starting from his 1st film. He knows acting and passionate about it (though I agree that he sometimes goes OTT), is very hardworking, dances like dream and does action better than everybody else (only Akki is his competition) and super handsome.
I don't think anyone of Hrithik's time has all the qualities.
Of course his father has a role in launching him and giving him KMG but if father was the key to sustain this long in the industry then Uday Chopra would have been in Hrithik's place. 😆

In whose world? What is the idea of success...did madhavan aspire to be this godly hunk ...if no..how come he is a failure.

Dude constructed a sucesful career for himself in hindi and tamil...doing roles.

Was giving Abhi discount because his father is not director and still he has a Guru and Yuva in his kitty

Because of Hrithik.

Everyone's talked about the mass hysteria he generated on his debut and till today, he's the the lone wolf.

Khans ride on each other's coat tails. Even if 1 of them is having a hard time, he gets complimentary PR with the other 2. Such that they are always up and present in people's minds.
