Why did Hrithik's contemporaries fail?

So many of Hrithik's contemporaries failed...Fradeen,Uday,Tushar,Aftab,Jimmy Shergill, Madhavan, Zayed Khan and Arjun,John,Abhishek barely have their heads above water.

It's like a collective curse!

Only Hrithik made it and I seriously doubt if his father was not there, would he have reached d same position...i think he wud b at Abhishek and John's level only.

So...q question is...why?

Was it bcoz the Khans and Kumar, Decvgan etc of 90's were still all pervasive?

Will rabir,Ranveer, Sid, varun, Sushant n ARK face same fate or will dey b luckier?

jimmy and aftab are decent actors but dont have the charisma of being superstars like khans

Hrithik was their nemesis lol frankly none of his contemporaries were good enough, didn't have the talent, charisma or stardom to sustain.

Sonu Nigam have sang some of finest songs for aftab like Woh Ho Tum in muskaan and this one :) and Tumhe jitna bhulate hain tum utne he yaad ate ho from Sukriya ...or pehle pehle baar hai dil beqarar hai from kya yahi pyar hai

I don't care about their failures, but as a Duggu fan I will say he had a lot of potential and he hasn't reached his own potential. Failures made him wary and he started to play it safe. He hardly does one movie in 2 years. Duggu could have achieved a lot more for himself and possibly been on the same level as the Khan's if he had taken a few more risks. He is doing good for himself, but with the debut he had the sky was the limit.
