Ranbir, I agree is a league above in everything be it filmography, acting chops or BO.

As for Varun doing quality work, watch Badlapur. It is actually still the movie of the year and Varun's performance the performance of the year for many. It proves that he has got the range and the ability as an actor. Was good in HSKD as well.

And he is just 4 movies old. Were you expecting each of them to be cult classics??

Varun is not ahead of Ranbir in any department; be it BO, acting or quality of work. In-fact he is miles behind in the later two and has a long way to go in the BO tussle as well.

But yes, he has gone ahead of Ranveer. BO is crystal, no doubts there. While it is a bit early to say, I think he is the better actor as well.

^^ Exactly and the cherry on the cake was that Varun was able to take a niche, dark film like Badlapur and turn it into a box office success as well, not just relying on critical acclaim with empty theatres

Yes, Badlapur is the movie of the year for many people. Acting, direction, story/plot, editing and even lighting; it tops on each front (story can be arguable).

Though it should and I expect it to change by the time the years end.

Why is ABCD2 being called a mindless teen flick anyway? Why can't teen-flicks be good? 😆
