Aish comes from a stable background with two parents who were always there to support her.

Katrina comes from a family with something like 8 or 9 siblings with one mother trying to take care of them and with no knowledge of the Indian system.

Two different personalities, two different backgrounds, 2 different people. What's important is that both got out. I don't like reading victim blaming or trying to pit one against the other. Seems distasteful to focus on who was the better victim rather than have the focus on the abuser.

Well .. the thing is that a lot of Indian men in earlier days were into abusing their women and women just took it as a part of their relationships. See Rati Agnihotri's case. All these years she lived with a man who was emotionally/physically abusing her .. it's only now that she decided to end it all. Salman grew up like that kind of a man and in a family/industry/society where it was very common for men to cheat and abuse. He probably didn't even think/know that he was doing something so wrong that it will damage all his life. He just was being psychotic about Ash and probably thought that it was part of being a intense lover crap. Ash just came out stronger than most of the other women. Other women left him only when they didn't have any other choice. Maybe when Sangeeta called off their wedding, she secretly expected that Salman will mend his ways. Same for Somy. But Salman never bothered and moved on to other women. Sangeeta/Somy didn't have a choice. Ash had a choice because Salman was still madly in love with her. Still she chose to move on because she is a strong woman and respected her parents' disapproval for Salman. He never expected that something like that could have happened. Salman probably just thought that he was being a cool successful man dumping women all around him. But well his own image came back to haunt him real bad. And now he can't do much other than regretting how he underestimated the women like Ash/Katrina.

Katrina herself has been putting up with Ranbir's cheating ways for a very long time now. Thankfully he isn't abusive at least. Maybe that is why she still loves him. Or maybe she stuck to him for so long because sleeping around is pretty common in this industry, so katrina doesn't really sees it as something that bad. She didn't put up with Salman because she didn't want to be with him, she wasn't in love with him and of course he is abusive. She has put with Ranbir because cheating is common and she probably thought that Ranbir was the best of the lot available to her in their society.

lol...there is something called circumstantial evidence...which can prove certain things...Don't u think that no case would be ever adjudicated because the judge was not present there...there are witnesses...there are evidences...so this argument of ...Oh I wasn't there and you weren't there is illogical...

I am saying this in general and not for things discussed in this thread because some of them might be true...others might just be gossip...none of these went to trial in a court but seriously saying every time that I wasn't there or u weren't there doesn't work..
