Producer Arbaaz Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Dolly Ki Doli, opened up about his plans for Dabangg 3 in an interview and said that plans for a third film in the series are on.
Arbaaz said, "Yes, Dabangg 3 is in the pipeline and I can assure fans of the series that Dabangg 3 will be bigger and better than the previous two films. The reason is because we are now aware of what the public expects from the franchise and the character Chulbul Pandey. Believe me, we are quite cautious about the fact that the third film should not be mediocre because that would amount to disrespecting the franchise, which is one of the most loved in recent times. We are not making Dabangg 3 just for the sake of taking the story forward and cashing in on the popularity of the character or the franchise. We want to make a film that will be remembered for years to come."
Dabangg and Dabangg 2 starred Salman Khan as the lovably roguish Inspector Chulbul Pandey, who doesn't hesitate to bend the rules to achieve justice.
