How did Vivek and Arbaaz worked together?

Recently, I saw the movie Shootout at Lokhandwala, where both Arbaaz and Vivek acted on it. I was surprised by seeing them together because Arbaaz is Salman’s brother while Vivek is Salman’s biggest enemy. Many times Vivek said that Salman destroyed his career. So how can Salman’s brother work with him? If Salman really destroyed his career, then Salman would not allow Arbaaz to work with him and Arbaaz would never disobey Salman since all the siblings of Salman depends on Salman for everything. That movie also had Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Shetty on it and both are friends of Salman. So they would not work with Vivek if Salman tried to destroy Vivek’s career. Also, the movie was mostly about Vivek’s character since he played the most meaty role on it and it released in 2007. If Salman had any hand in destroying Vivek’s career at all, then Vivek would not get such role but overall he did good acting on that movie.

Arbaaz gets very few offers and so he took it up I guess irrespective of the other actors in it.

Vivek claiming Bhai destroyed his career always seems fake

He had Mani Ratnam film in 2004, Subash Ghai film in 2005, 2006 Vishal bhardwaj film, 2007 & 2008 had 2 Sanjay Gupta films.

He also had Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..., Masti & Pyare Mohan (Indra Kumar), Home delivery, Kaal (Karan Johar), Naksha, Fool n final (a Firoz A Nadiadwala film)

Vivek's father (Suresh Oberoi) was powerful enough to ensure that Vivek's career wasn't destroyed beyond certain internal animosities

They didn't share screen

Vivek is not Salman's biggest enemy. I doubt Salman even considers him worthy of his hate.

He has got bigger mafia issues to worry about

Does the film even has hero? It’s not a rom com movie where the hero heroine romance. It’s based on a true story where the police offers encountered the gangs. Vivek played the most important role because he was the biggest gang on that movie.
