Ecxept for 1,2 and 3, most others apply to me. 😆 But roadside pani puri, bhelpuri.. i CAN NOT resist.. I just dont look at how thye make it.. out of sight, out of mind.
Bte, in Bardoli(a small town known for Sardar Patel- the Iron man of India).. there r so many stores for NRIS special. From no. to Feb. is NRI season.. they charge 10 times more but hygine level is upto standard.

Those from US will know Patels=motels. Filthy rich ppl. Locals r 😡 U Nris come and go and increase the prices. 😕

Btw, Cricket is my fav. sport and All Balcks NZ Rugby team is my fav team.

Mostly those who migrated to another country is considered NRIs... more so if its first world country.

Those who were born in another country r also NRIS.. but they r most likely be that countries citizens. Walk and talk wise.

There r 2 choices for NRIs.. positive "having best of both worlds".. i m in that category.. Love Both India and NZ. @nd is dhobika kutta na ghar ka na ghat ka.. " theses r sorry ass figures who keep cplaining why other better that the one they in at that moment".

My accents neither Kiwi not Indian.. I adopted soft accents that any one who knows English can understand me. The worst I have came across is Irish/Scottish. 😕

In India, Gujarat, Surat.. I speak as good local lingo as everybody does.. yet. shoap keepers tell str8away this is NRI and b4 i speak Pepsi is there. 😲

A lot of these apply to me. I find Indian food way too spicy and I only drink bottled water in India. But during my visits, I've tried every kind of street food there is. I just can't resist the food over there. It's super duper delicious. We don't get such tasty Indian food over here. Though I did end up getting sick in the end 😆😆. Uff I really miss those Kulfi's, Ras Gullas and Paneer Makhanwala. There really is a lot of pollution and noise in India. When I stepped out of the Bombay airport, I could actually feel the pollution in the air. The air seemed a lot thicker than what I'm used to. Also, people just just never stop honking on the roads and that used to get on my nerves.

I don't mind the heat though because in Houston, the temperature is usually around 100 degrees in the summer so I'm kind of used to that. Also, I love NBA, Baseball and American Football but doesn't mean that I hate cricket. I'm still Indian after all and every Indian loves cricket. And about the accent. If people are born and/or raised in the US or England, obviously they are gonna have an American or a British accent. Oh and one more thing I couldn't stand is that people don't really use deodorants over there. If you are in a crowded place, the smell of sweat is really hard to bear. Oh and forgot about the tissues. That's so true for me 😆😆

Forget abt coming out of Mumbai airport, the moment u walk out of plane, u smell chlorine smells as if u r in hospital.. and once u r out of airport.. the heatwaves.. 😲 I m auckland, nz, the temp. goes from 5 to 30 Degrees. but Indian heat something diff. Humid.. swaeting.. dehydrating. Yup, the noise, the crowd the polution, the water/food.. its all we gotta take care off. but once I m spent 1 month.. I m as Indian gujju as every1.. except from my loose clothing.

Only the first one applies in my case :P It's kind of odd when the accent doesn't match with others.

its not a crime having high standards. Please tell how livestock on the roads is safe? Whats wrong with expecting some cleanthiness. Only fools talk like Sup Dawg. A man who is working in a respected job will never say stuff like this.
