Abhay Deol was good in Dev D. Pratiek babbar was good in Dhobi Ghat.

Then he did that comedy 'my friend Pinto' which I found amusing.

Wonder what happened to him.

Hrithik Roshan is one of the biggest beneficiary of his dad's link to Bollywood, isn't he? Not only did his dad launch him in one of the most lavish film ever, he also comes as the savior everytime his career faces dark times. That also count as more-than-common chances given to a star kid, doesn't it?

No no..By double standards, what i meant was when your favorite actor wins, FF becomes the ultimate indication of acting talent..But when an actor you hate wins, it becomes rigged😆

Why is it that every time a topic on star kids is made, ranbir fans start getting defensive and start mocking opinions of other forum members with their sarcastic comments? 😕 Does star kid mean only ranbir? Someone explain how AB jr got so many movies as solo hero and some with reputed directors when all he's delivering are duds after duds? Jimmy shergill despite being way more talented did not get too many chances as lead. But the fugly uday chopra did many movies. How?

No one got defensive..The most popular star kid at this point is Ranbir and the argument often used to put him down is that he is a Kapoor..Almost like thats the only reason why he is successful..Thats the only reason why i brought it up..It was not directed at the TM tbh😆

yes, I was replying that people who don't like nepotism dislike ALL star kids and I was saying it was not true.

For example Hrithik. There's a lot who like him regardless of him being a star kid.

KNPH was HR's make or break film, RR wasn't a superstar or super-director back then, there was no hype before the release of the film, it was a simple plain love story with a boring double role track but HR gets the credit for making it the biggest hit of the year with his acting talent, looks, dance and superb screen presence, he became an overnight sensation ... he was no Bacchan or Kapoor if KNPH flopped , it would have been all over for him ...

I guess none would make it to the top if they don't have talent. Some linger on in the fringes like AB jr but there are such cases amongst outsiders too like John Abraham. His looks work for him.

The surname can only give u movies but it cant make u a star . Look at
Sunny deol-Bobby deol
Salman-his brothers
Aamir-Faisal

If their fathers could make one son a star why not the other ones ??

And lots of people like Ranbir despite the fact that he is a starkid. So there is no common thread between disliking nepotism and disliking star kids. People like who they like. There is no empirical science behind it.
