LOL😆 Honestly i think FF is rigged too and don care even if Ranbir wins but the double standards amuse me😆 There is some sort of a reverse prejudice against star kids 😕 Its great if an outsider makes it in Bollywood but why discredit the talent of an actor just because he is a star kid? Btw, you got it wrong..Ranbir doesn't even have Barfi cos PC overshadowed him big time in that film😆

Compare someone like Alia Bhatt who barely had a role in SOTY to someone like Yami Gautam who had a short but effective role in Vicky Donor. Alia got Highway later while Yami has had to wait for so much longer for a script to come along. And now Alia's doing 2 States.

It's all about opportunities and I do think that star kids do have an upper hand here. Maybe not always but at least for some of them.

p.s. Alia was a right choice for Highway. She was surprisingly great.

I feel only Ranbir and the Kapoor Sisters have been able to live upto it.😆.and prove everyone wrong that they were actually worth it...So I will call them exceptions..Other than them I only see the outsiders making their mark..Be it Ranveer or PC or Pari or Kat or Anushka or Sushant ..So I dont think its much of a double standard..Talent is never discredited..or else Ranbir would have been discredited too..But the undue advantage that star kids get is unfair 😕..and that is discredited by people in general..

altho there are newbies from outside being launched from YRF.. but most big production house or directors choose to launch star kids.. with no trainin or wat so ever..so star kids have it easier..

Not true

I like Hrithik Roshan, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Prateik Babbar and Abhay Deol. I actually like a lot of actors who have links to the industry. Some may have not done commercially successful films and gotten box office success but I find them descent.

Abhay Deol was good in Dev D. Pratiek babbar was good in Dhobi Ghat.

Then he did that comedy 'my friend Pinto' which I found amusing.

Wonder what happened to him.

Why is it that every time a topic on star kids is made, ranbir fans start getting defensive and start mocking opinions of other forum members with their sarcastic comments? 😕 Does star kid mean only ranbir? Someone explain how AB jr got so many movies as solo hero and some with reputed directors when all he's delivering are duds after duds? Jimmy shergill despite being way more talented did not get too many chances as lead. But the fugly uday chopra did many movies. How?

these star kids vs outsider argument is all crap , if they are good they'll survive and make a mark, the best egs being Ranbir & Sushant, Ranbir is rated cos his talent and BO pull, Sushant is getting big films cos the directors are impressed with his auditions and believes he can deliver ...

Yeah I noticed this aswell. Like he is the only star kid.

btw why are you so concerned about those some people? you got your friend or close one struggling for some role in BW or HW? 😲

Aren't there a lot of people struggling for roles in BW or HW.

It's a career so of course ppl are going to be concerned.

Especially if one day your children may come and say they want to be an actor.

There are people that want to know about these industries and how they work.
