Actually there was a lot of hype around Bebo as well! She go some great offers but ended up choosing all the wrong ones! Alia hopefully will have Ranbir Bhai & Shabana Maasi to help her make better choices😛 Also u need real talent & luck to make it even though you may have industry support! And I think these two have it.

In the younger generation Ranbir is still way far ahead of the others. Ranbir was appreciated a lot as an actor for WUS/Rockstar/Rocket Singh...but it was honestly Barfi that made people really sit up and take notice because not only did it too well critically, but despite being the total anti-thesis of everything in that "oh so awesome" 100 cr, it got there...with a flop director, a written off actress, and a hero not that popular either. Then YJHD's opening and final numbers. Nobody else in the younger generation can match that. The gap has narrowed only slightly with RL/Gunday, but Ranveer is still pretty far behind. Ranbir's probably gonna throw a party because of Gunday's under-performance..😆

Alia...I don't think I'm qualified to speak about her...😆

^I think Gunday performed really well for a masala movie with youngsters. I mean Veer is only 5 films old so 80 crore is not bad at all.

We all saw how badly Besharam flopped as audience doesn't accept any other actor baring Khans or Kumar doing Masala.

The fact that Veer and Arjun were accepted by masses shows they can go far which Ranbir lacks. Biru's trump card is the multiplex audience who are very fickle minded. But the single screen audience is the one that stays loyal to their star.

Do to agree with you if you ask my opinion on it. For me the likes of Deepika, Sonam, Sonakshi and Vidya or Ranveer, Sushant, Arjun, Sid will,give great performances, will sign movies but they will not be accepted as the bollywood rulers by either the media or the BW walas..it is sad but so very true...

Oh poor Sonam who has survived in the industry for 5 years depite giving flop films after flops until 2013. Who has her dad making stupid films like Aisha to promote her. Oh, poor Sonam. I really feel bad for that spoilt brat who calls other actresses shameless 'cos they are successful. She's a AB jr among girls. Most normal actress would have been out of the industry after 3 years with her track record . 😆

Haha Besharam had worst opinion. It was bashed like Akki's joker ffs. Gunday had decent reviews and still only got 80 cr. Besharam got 60 cr as well. So I don't see all this single screen acceptance for a movie that got 6/10 reviews compared to 2-3/10 movie.
