Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol to appear together again, reviving their timeless chemistry off the script

Kajol and Twinkle Khanna are teaming up for an upcoming OTT chat show that brings together some of the most familiar names in Bollywood. The series, which will stream on Amazon Prime Video India, is planned as an eight-episode format and aims to offer a candid look into the off-screen lives of film personalities.

One of the key highlights of the show is the much-anticipated reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The two actors, known for their successful on-screen pairing in films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and My Name is Khan, will be seen together once again, this time in a relaxed, conversational format.

The show will also feature Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn, adding further weight to the lineup. While Aamir joins as a guest, Akshay and Ajay bring personal links, being the real-life partners of the show’s hosts, Twinkle and Kajol, respectively.

Set to release in fall 2025, the series promises humour, honest storytelling, and insider moments from the world of Bollywood. Each episode is expected to revolve around a unique theme, mixing film anecdotes with unrehearsed conversations, old memories, and a touch of nostalgia. With Kajol and Twinkle’s shared comfort and chemistry evident in their past appearances, the show is positioned to blend personal charm with celebrity insight.

Meanwhile, Kajol continues to remain active in films. Her latest release, Maa, which hit theatres on June 27, 2025, has been performing well commercially. The mythological horror thriller, part of the Shaitaan universe and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, saw her playing a mother who invokes the spirit of Goddess Kali to protect her daughter. The film has already crossed Rs 20 crore in its opening weekend, with Kajol receiving praise for her intense portrayal. As both host and performer, Kajol seems set to maintain a strong presence across formats in the coming year.
