Well Ranbir is a fine actor! In the past a Aamir movie never made as much moolah as say a SRK or Sallu movie! But now audiences prefer sensible or movies with a different perspective! Also Ranbir has tremendous backing to match his talent! I think he will be the future Khan! I have no doubt I Ranveer's talent but I worry that he may not get as many chances/support as Ranbir!

As for Alia, going by the reviews she seems the next best thing after sliced bread😛 But seriously I think she has potential & all the right backing! Trust me, the gal will get to choose her movies unlike the rest of them who have to fight for it! And if she is even slightly smarter than KKK she should make it really big! That's the advantage of being a industry child! A little talent goes a long way!

Ranbir is definitely the superstar of this generation..One look at the movie Barfi..and we get the idea why..He is a fantastic actor..

A very close second to him is Ranveer..the guy has the calibre..I just wish he focuses less on his oiled chest and more on his acting..😆..He will go places..

Of the current lot of actresses it has to be Pari and Alia.they have showcased their talent very early in their career..unlike their immediate seniors Deeps and Sonam and Kat..

I'm still waiting for the next superstar. At this point most of the people you mentioned are still kids in nappies in the industry. Ranbir has been around longer, but he's recently made an impact.

It is a long road to superstardom and it is very easy to stumble, fall and get lost along the way. Shahid Kapur was to be one, he fell down somewhere. Kareena was to be one, she married Saif and got lost in some woods.

Haven't you been long enough on the forum to be able to look into the future?😆 But this was a hypothetical situation from where things stand today! Ranbir is way ahead of Alia but Alia seems to be where Ranbir was when he started in terms of the adulation she is getting for her 2nd movie! So why not ?!

I agree about Ranbir. He is already there among the big guns in every award show, critic choices, endorsements. Alia is too young and and too new to be designated as a superstar. Look at what happened to Ameesha.
And I don't see Baba ever reaching the hallowed superstardom. After all that hoopla in tha last year he still doesn't get nominated for Best Actor award or get a clean hit in Gunday.

Do to agree with you if you ask my opinion on it. For me the likes of Deepika, Sonam, Sonakshi and Vidya or Ranveer, Sushant, Arjun, Sid will,give great performances, will sign movies but they will not be accepted as the bollywood rulers by either the media or the BW walas..it is sad but so very true...

I have to agree with you based on the hype that has been created around Ranbir since the day one and the hype totally resemble like what Allia is going through. Whether audience like it or not but the media and the old BW will a always put Ranbir and Allia on high esteem. They will always be the heartthrobs...

Highway was the one media and BW was waiting for to put Allia on top...mediocre without makeup performance got her the praise and her name along with Meryl Streep, Nargis, Nutan, and khans.

Ranbir's Barfi and Rockstar got him all the awards for a good work while Ranveer's Lootera and Ramleela, Dhanush's Raanjahna, Arjun's Ishqzaade, Gets ignored.

But a Saat Khoon Maaf by Priyanka, Dirty Picture by Vidya, Chameli by Kareena, Ramleela by Deepika, Lootera by Sonakshi, Choker Bali by Aishwarya Rai, Lunch Box. Y Nirmat Kaur, and soon are not even given their due by the BW oldies. No one came out to say or encourage them.

So in a way you are correct when you say that Bollywood Oldies have chosen their favorites...
