Been looping both Metro… In Dino and the Saiyaara albums lately, and the contrast is so striking yet oddly nostalgic. Both these movies are releasing in July, and both pay homage to Bollywood music which is flavorful and steeped in melody.

Metro… In Dino leans into that modern, urban loneliness — Pritam brings back that Life in a... Metro melancholy, with songs that feel like 3AM conversations. It's more subtle, layered, almost introspective. The kind of music you feel on a rainy commute home.

On the other hand, Saiyaara album is sweeping and cinematic. There's this aching romanticism in every note, especially the title track. It’s less grounded, more about love as an escape — like running away with your heartbreak instead of sitting with it.

Both hit differently — one whispers, the other soars.

Which one do you vibe with more?
