Recently, we heard that a beauty soap brand that Imran Khan endorses with an A-list actress, refused to have Ranveer Singh on board. Reason: his over-the-top image. According to a source, Ranveer was in the running to bag the deal, courtesy rumours of his supposed link-up with the actress in question. But at the last moment, the brand felt they needed an actor with a simple, straightforward image. Interesting.

'Beauty soap' 😆 I can't believe there's still shit marketing like this. Oh wait, of course there is...beauty soap, whitening soap, serums, creams...the whole nine yards.

Ranveer should endorse something like Chyawanprash...dude is always filled with energy

srk did one of the lux ads
he was ridiculed for doing a feminine ad like lux
i am glad ranveer didnt end up doing it.
they picked imran who is more apt for a lux soap feminine ad.

Imran has a lot of endorsements considering how low his current Bollywood stock is. And Ranveer has none. Even Ayushman Khurana endorses some mobile brands. There seems to be a large void between the online world and the real world regarding opinions about Ranveers and his charms.

it more has to do with the fact that Imran comes from a filmy background as well, even after giving a string of flops he is still being offered movies.

Ranveer and arjun don't have endorsement deals even though they have both more or less been in the industry for the same length of time. The biggest culprit I feel is YRF talent which is the agency they r both attached to. News even came that yrf arranged an emergency meeting to get these two some brand deals.

@bold: I was about to say that. Someone tell me how this guy still gets so many endorsements- he was signed on for MTS Blaze, Bru and this Lux ad this year from what I can remember. And he's not a newcomer so he won't come cheap, plus the freshness is all gone plus he's been delivering flops after flops!

When Ranbir declined the same ad saying he won't like to appear in a TVC of a girly product, it became a fault of insecure Katrina who barred her boyfriend from doing an ad with Deepika. 😆
