oh here comes the mother of W*F statements

lady do you know the meaning of KC...it the rituals is not done to prove your love but to pray for your husband long life...there is a story behind KC...why its celebrated by married womens...

its her choice whether she wants to keep it or not...but before giving out the statements pls learn and google why the rituals is celebrated...

Liar liar pants on fire.

She's done this before. Went hoarse crying she's not fasting, blah blah, but wouldnt eat or taste anything on karva chath during G3 promotions. Wouldnt take a sip of water or any drink. Just stood there while the rest of the cast ate.

Only admitted later in an interview that she was fasting.

I wonder why she does this. 😆

Karwa chauth is seen by many as a regressive concept, yes indeed starving yourself for the long life of your husband. It's imposed by society and most people don't even think much about it and do it because it's traditional. If they didn't, they have to face annoyed husbands, irritating in-laws, disapproving neighbors and the like. If they're doing it out of happiness, good for them. It doesn't change the face that it's a chauvinist concept just like a lot of things built into all religions.

Why should an actress even be asked if she's fasting for her husband? It's completely irrelevant.

what is so regressive about it? and I am a muslim but still I feel every religion should be dealt with some respect and I personally see nothing wrong with karwa chauth and women fasting for their husbands! how does that make it regressive?

for me a modern woman is some one who follows her heart and has enough sensibility to respect some one's belief! just stating something and terming it as regressive is an insult to all those million independent women out there who observe it to get that peace and satisfaction

seriously people and especially celebs need to weigh their words carefully!
