Karisma Kapoor’s children Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Raj Kapoor have filed a case in Delhi High Court seeking their rightful share in the Rs 30,000 crore assets of their late father Sunjay Kapur. This comes after sources close to the actress had said there is no feud with the family with regards to property. They stated that she prioritized their emotional and mental well-being over and above everything. In the appeal filed by the two kids under guardianship of Karisma Kapoor, they have alleged that Priya Kapur attempted to forge their father’s will to gain complete control on assets. Priya has a son Azarias from Sunjay Kapur, and a daughter Safira from her first husband, Vikram Chatwal, the American billionaire hotelier. The children have stated that they want their due share, claiming that Priya Kapur concealed assets from them.

Are Karisma Kapoor and her kids siding with Rani Kapur?

There is no clarity on whether Sunjay Kapur left a succession plan or will before his death. It looks like a case of Sunjay Kapur’s family Vs Karisma Kapoor and kids Vs Priya Kapur and kids. As per inheritance laws, his children are the first heirs to the Rs 30,000 crore property. Priya Kapur is also a rightful heir. Sona Comstar was built by her husband and inherited by Sunjay Kapur. He also had two sister Mandhira and Superna.

There is a lot of curiosity on whether Sunjay Kapur legally adopted Safira Chatwal as his daughter. She is the daughter of Vikram Chatwal and Priya Sachdev Kapur. It would mean that Vikram Chatwal relinquished his paternal rights, which is quite surprising. Safira recently dropped her surname from Instagram while Priya made it Priya Sunjay Kapur. Both of them are now keeping a low profile on social media.
