Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira gets caught with a blade inside jail

In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sanjay admits his mistake to Armaan, feeling guilty for not being able to protect Maira. He tells him that he has already filed an FIR and also given the police the number of the van that took Maira away.

Armaan asks Sanjay whether he managed to see the kidnappers’ faces. Sanjay explains that before he could recognise anyone, the men fled quickly while carrying sticks in their hands. He adds that the van went towards the southern side of the city.

Armaan's guilt deepens:

At the same time, Manoj and Krish arrive. Manoj shares that he has been trying to reach Madhav but hasn’t been able to connect. Armaan also reveals that he tried calling too, but Madhav’s phone shows no network.

Sanjay, Krish, and Manoj then decide to reach out to their contacts for help in finding Maira as soon as possible. Armaan, however, loses his temper and shouts in frustration, asking why such measures are even needed. Feeling broken, Sanjay admits that all of this is happening because of his mistake.

However, Armaan, deeply broken, holds himself responsible for not being able to secure Abhira’s bail and indirectly putting Maira’s safety at risk. Overwhelmed with guilt, he even questions his role as a father. Manoj and Sanjay try to reassure him and keep him strong.

Resolute, Armaan declares that he will personally look for Maira. When Manoj reminds him of the vastness of the city, Armaan firmly responds that no city is larger than a father’s determination.

Abhira learns Jalebi's truth:

Elsewhere, Jalebi is overheard plotting on a phone call. She discusses sending the kidnapped girls to Rajasthan while finalising deals with buyers, unaware that Abhira is secretly listening. Suspicious, Jalebi confronts her.

Abhira cleverly hints that Jalebi deserves a punishment far greater than the ordinary, but Jalebi, convinced that Abhira hasn’t uncovered the truth, orders her to focus on her legal matters. Soon after, Abhira pieces everything together and realises Jalebi is also behind Maira’s abduction.

Abhira exposes Jalebi:

Later, Jalebi insists that everyone in the prison celebrate Kesari’s birthday. While Jaya and the others refuse to join in, Jalebi forces her decision, calling it her moment of triumph. Jaya openly challenges her, but Jalebi presses on.

During the celebration, Abhira boldly exposes Jalebi, accusing her of running a trafficking racket right from behind bars. Jalebi, however, plays innocent, portraying herself as a victim and dismissing Abhira’s accusations as delusion. Determined, Abhira hands over Jalebi’s phone to the inspector, but the warden still refuses to trust her.

Jalebi frames Abhira:

Meanwhile, Maira and the other girls remain captive under Jalebi’s gang. Concerned for her daughter, Abhira decides she must assist Armaan in bringing Maira back safely. She approaches Kesari for help. Initially reluctant, Kesari questions why she should get involved. But when Abhira reminds her of the time they shared food in prison, Kesari softens and agrees.

Enraged, Jalebi twists the situation and convinces the warden to search Abhira. A blade is suddenly discovered hidden in Abhira’s clothes. Though Abhira insists it was planted, Jalebi accuses her of planning an attack. Believing Jalebi’s words, the warden orders Abhira to solitary confinement.

Kesari helps Abhira:

Jalebi, seething with anger, vows to ruin Abhira for standing in her way. Outside the jail, Armaan tirelessly continues his search for Maira until Kesari’s husband contacts him with Maira’s location.

Sanjay and Manoj are stunned when they learn that Abhira had knowledge of Maira being trapped in jail. Armaan, however, defends her, reminding them that a mother can move mountains for her child. Locked in solitary, Abhira anxiously prays for Maira’s safety and desperately calls out for someone to help her.

Precap for the next episode

In the precap, Abhira is finally released from all charges. The court announces Abhira’s innocence. Though the Poddars welcome her home, she remains silent and withdrawn. As she nearly loses her balance on the stairs, Maira rushes to hold her, worried for her mother’s fragile state.
