no way...KKHH was the one where Aman absolutely deserved the Girl...
In HDDCS and Sajan...i agree the other lead guy had an upper edge

I remember the first time when I had watched this movie, I was so happy that she chose Vanraj, (even though I Love Salman ☺️ and being his fan was hard to see that💔).

But loved the way Ajay had portrayed the character of an innocent and loving husband..
I was awed with him especially the way he emoted in the Nimbuda Song and through out the movie...
Kudos to the entire team of HDDCS👏⭐️

Yeah...Kudos to the Team..

The entire movie had Perfect Setting...perfect Actors, Music , Emotion Content...everything...

what being discussed here is What was Sameer's faul in this...dint he deserved Love..??

Well in all honesty I think they both deserved Nandini, it's just fate (or SLB) played it's game and it turned out how it did. I guess like a person said before me Sameer getting the girl wouldn't have left that lasting impact.

In saajan the only edge was that madhuri loved the poet who was sanjay other than that salman stole the show completely during the end when he re-united them !

It was not about choosing Vanraj over sameer, It was about choosing the husband over a lover...This movie was made keeping the Indian mentality in mind...However advance we Indians become...but still saving the marriage comes first...husband is the most important person in life for a wife...so the movie was based on that...Also in an ideal scenario Nandini should have never agreed to marry Vanraj in the first place...There was nothing wrong in Sameer...so Nandini's parents should have agreed to their marriage...but in India ...even today things don't work like that...girls don't have that much say...so this movie was how India works and not about an ideal world...If Nandini had chosen Sameer over her husband...this movie would have flunked and beated black and blue by critics...Just remember that our forum doesn't represent how the real India thinks...

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Sameer. He was a great guy. Throughout the movie, I kept rooting for Sameer and Nandini to get together. The first time I saw the movie I was disappointed that Nandini picked Vanraj over Sameer. Over time I realized why Vanraj may have been the wiser pick.

I don't think Sameer was a coward, nor do I think he was immature. In fact I feel he was a man of integrity and principles. He had a lot of reverence and respect for Nandini's father. That is why he couldn't simply defy him and elope with Nandini. He walked away because it wasn't the right time or opportunity to chase Nandini. He never stopped loving her or waiting for the right opportunity. Unfortunately, it never came.

What makes Vanraj edge out Samir is his ability to be completely selfless in love. Most people are selfish in love. We want to win and attain love. We are jealous and insecure. Everything is about our happiness. It is very rare that people have the ability to love so selflessly that the other person's happiness is more important. Not many people can be so willing to let go of someone they love.

Neither of them were a bad choice. It all came down to what Nandini felt was right for her. Sameer offered her a sweeping romance, the ability to live her love sory. Vanraj offered her security, the assurance of a husband who unconditionally loved her. At the end of the movie Nandini feels that unconditional love is more important to her than chasing romance.

Personally though, I'd have gone with Sameer, not because Sameer is better but actually because Vanraj is a better man. I think it is unfair to settle with someone who is unconditionally in love with you, when you are unsure if you can reciprocate it at that level. Also because there's a part of me that is unwilling to settle and is more smitten by the chase.

Don't think too much...It was a bhansali film and thats how he wanted to end the film... if YRF made it , Nandini would have ended up with Sameer at the end...😆
Vanraj : Ja Nandini, Jee le apni zindagi...😆 and then Vanraj's childhood friend Damini must be waiting for Vanraj 🤔😆
