Nick we all know reason ETT had better start was it came on EID even analysists know that had dabangg 2 released thensnd ETT now the pattern be the same...just because some wanna irritate to say Katrina helped let them does not make it true !! Instead Katrina did not have a single ATBB till working with Salman who has 5 or so!!

Haan both are his movie...but my comment is in response to NB's comment ...that Salman's career revived after Kat dumped him...which is not true at all...and yess kat should say thanks to salman for her first 100 cr movie and a lot of other things too...

This is going to sound incredibly shirty but the "Salman phenomenon" basically consists of nothing but a brainless script that is easy for the seety marne wali crowd to follow, Salman giving up any and every pretense that he can act as he is content in the knowledge people will lap up whatever shit he deals out, awful comic scenes that stopped being funny ages ago, an item song with an intriguing yet ultimately meaningless catchphrase, publicizing his Being Human schtick and a release on a holiday weekend.

Actually BI IMO some kind of masala will always remain. Even more mature film industries like Hollywood have lots of crappy masala movies. Its just that the nature of masala will change. Like in the 90s the masala was those romantic movies like DDLJ, HAHK which had huge families. Then we had the Akshay phase of comedies and romcoms. Action movies had been out of the limelight for a long time till 2008 when Ghajini and Wanted came along. They were just the perfect receipe for aging stars like Salman, Aamir, Akshay, Ajay to stay in the limelight longer. No wonder they have been embraced by Bollywood. But now too many are getting into this genre. SRK, Ranbir and even Shahid are the newest entrants. There is a limit to everything. Soon we will have one masala action comedy movie releasing every Friday. How many can people take? They will start meeting the fate of K786 unless they are extra-ordinary. That will I guess make Bollywood experiment. I'll give this genre till 2014 before something else in terms of masala comes along.
