Salman Khan Phenomenon can you explain it?

I need help I have always loved his films. Yeah in the 2000's decade there were alot of clunkers. Most of his hits from 2000-2009 are not even solo films. He had fallen below the likes of Shahid Abhishek and Saif in star power. Then how did he make a comeback. I liked his recent films all of them. But truth be told they are not pathbreaking films lol. Did tehy really offer anything new. Infact everyone keeps saying this like what Big B did in the 1970's and early 80's . Why is junta liking them now. An why is the ambassador of this genre technically at one point a "has been"? lets discuss

I don't know abt the janta, but i adored his earlier films. Those films were such a treat to watch.

I can't explain the current phenomenon but it seems to have taken the country by storm.

His recent films all have a 'heroism' factor, I guess one reason for the phenomenon could be that the aam janta is going crazy over that..they want to see Salman the hero..

Dabang, Wanted, Ek Tha Tiger are out and out masala. Those weren't. Those were more NRI-romance wannabe flicks. So errrm...let's just say those films aren't "mawali gunda" material.

His celebrity never decreased, he was NEVER below the likes of those mentioned not even when he was giving kne flop after the other, he was always considered a huge star even during salaameishq, veer etc
