Nah - SRK saved this film.

Ranbir is a good actor but he cant single handedly save a film like JTHJ - remember BAH or AA - bad stories with Ranbir in the lead and they flopped big time.

This is another reason Ranbir wouldn't have said yes to this script.

Even though i like Ranbir as an actor a lot and i find his chemistry wid Kat superhot...stll jst cant imagine him as Samar...he still lacks those sp.effects which Shahrukh brings to a romantic movie and his character...those intense eyes,dat cute dimpled smile and d style wid which he delivers his dialogue is jst superb...so for me a big no!! Ranbir still has a long way to go..😃

coulda ...shoulda... woulda...welll its hard to imagine any actor in SRK's place after all the trailers, posters, promotions...but if anyone could have been picked...Ranbir would have been a good choice...

But glad RB dint do it...coz the script for JTHJ was just bad...SRK atleast made the sales happen for the last YC movie.
