Karishma.

Though Kajol did start off stronger. Early Kajol was comparatively better than early Karishma. But Lolo improved drastically over time. All things considered, Kajol is a bit overrated if you ask me.

Karisma Kapoor - IMO I find her to be a better performer/Actress than Kajol.

Karishma is the better actress than Kajol.

Kajol is overrated due to SRK and KJO's oh so romantic movies

Kajol IMO is overrated. She can only screech. People like Kjo/YRF hyped her too much. She got things way too easily whatever reason. Karisma is much better though never enjoyed Kajol's kind of success.

IMO both. KAjol is a terrific actress no doubt. But Karishma Kapoor too improved a lot. I loved her in DTPH. She was at her best in that movie. But then so was Kajol in films like MNIK, Fanna, DDLJ.

I find both of them equally talented. Though Karishma is a bit underrated. She wasn't acknowledged as a great actress during her time but yes she was good.

Karishma too opted for some of the worst films during the early phase of her career. I still think her talent was not fully explored. But given a chance she did prove herself especially in films like DTPH, Biwi No.1
