Karisma is good but a bit mediocre where's kajol is more natural even in those yashraj/kjo overhyped films!!

Karishma a better actress than kajol any day .Kajol was quite lucky that people tolerated her screeching in the name of acting . Highly overrated actress .She is lucky that she had such a long run in the Industry.the only film where I found Kajol appealing was Dushman and convincing as villain in Gupt and it ended there .But Karishma was much better actress than her

Karishma is definitely a better actress then Kajol.

Kajol can not cry onscreen, her crying is screeching and it makes me laugh instead of crying 😆.

Karishma is a better crier and a dancer from Kajol.

kajol is one of my favorites! may be she is over rated but i always always connect with her performances! so shez the one for me!

karisma is equally good, but unlike her sister, she does larger than life roles better! now i dnt mean to say she cant pull a housewife naturally coz she did it superbly in Biwi no 1 but she is better in drama like fiza, zubeida; extremely natural! where as kajol and even her sister kareena, do natural, normal bubbly roles better!

I don't think Kajol is overrated. I think she's an amazing actress. But I feel Karisma is underrated. I agree her initial movies weren't the greatest, but by the time she got to the last 90s and early 2000s, omg, her acting was just amazing. DTPH, Fiza, Biwi No. 1, HSSH, Zubeidaa, etc. showcased her amazing acting capabilities, and all those roles were so different. They really showed her versatility.

But I love Kajol too! I think she deserves all the fame and recognition she got, to be honest. But when having to compare Karisma and Kajol - I actually have no idea. I don't want to choose. I love them both. 😳

I don't think Karishma is underrated. She got a National award for her mediocre performance in DTPH, and many others for RH etc. She did some offbeat, critically acclaimed works in the latter part of her career, and got her due for them in various award ceremonies, critics reviews et al. And now she's been out of the picture for almost a decade, and hence there's no buzz surrounding her. She's rated more-or-less how she is I guess.

Kajol used to be good once upon a time (a long time back actually), but turned into a screeching machine in this decade. 😕 She's def. overrated considering that even mediocre to dreadful works like MNIK gets her numerous accolades.
