I don't think Bipasha can just blame Maddy for the whole thing a number of factors play in this I think if you have a powerful and good script then you can do wonders and people will spread the word that the movie is awesome and the actors will get credited because they worked so good blah blah. But Maddy in a solo fim is not such a good idea in supporting roles like 3 idiots he's really good.

I thought Maddy and Kangana looked great together in TWM. I was just watching TMW yesterday... and i loved it. Kangana is amazing with her sharmji ye and sharmaji woh..the dialogues are hilarious.. 😆 and maddy was cute in his quiet avatar. Maddy and Bips didn't click somehow.

Exact reason i dont know so just assuming

Till sometimes back I think there was a misconception abt south indian actors that they r mucchar ( moustache) , they r old, they r short , Not good looking etc etc etc thats why Rajnikant , nagarjun etc didnt make it , but their few good movies has worked ...its juts ppl never accepted them in typical lead roles , a hero who sings with heroine around the tree , action etc

Then BW movie's biggest main market is north india and wast , middle india , east india but Not south india ...they prefer their own language movies ...so first i think producers dont take risk by casting south indian actors in main lead they prefer good looking , tall kinda guys who can click in these parts of india , then ajy devgan kinds who very much click with North Indian audience or east west audience ...donnu may be its bcz he is frm north 😕

but its not no south indian ever clicked ...Suneil Shetty made it ...

so may be who is BW actor, clicks...who comes into BW after doing south movies doesn't click

madhvan now looks fat and i didnt like his look in jodi breaker ...he was amazing in RDB

then there r good looking south indians like Siddharth who cld have make it in BW but they never took interest , they preferred their own language movies when they had fans all over india , he never cared for his non-south fans ...now its too late for him to make it into BW

And what's wrong with that? Do the BW heroes go, let me care for my South fans and try to make a film in a language I'm not comfortable with?

Now with Siddharth he is very comfortable and fluent in Hindi. But so what if he wants to stay in that industry with only a bit of dabbling in BW. Those industries churn out some good work, even if they have their own faults (lack of actresses who dub for themselves, for one example.)

What??? North Indian actors are tall??? Then what's with SRK, SK and AK???And FYI Nagarjun is 6 feet tall and wayyy more good looking than any of the bolly stars...and so is Mahesh babu...

Its not that South stars are unable to make it in Bollywood...I don't think they are even interested in trying, as money and work discipline wise south is much better than Bollywood...South Indian movie industry works totally on a different plan and movies there get made in 3-4 months unlike the never ending sagas of the Bollywood...The heroes pretty much rule the roost there and get things done according to their terms...They get paid also more than their north Indian counterparts...So why stretch themselves from their comfort levels???

Its a different ball game for the heroines though...They don't get paid well and the stardom and recognition is also not as good as their bollywood counterparts...So it makes sense for them to try their luck in Bollywood...

i m not saying each and every north indian is tall or each and every south india is short ...i m just talking abt misconception ...overall image of south indians

ok fine if they r not interested ...good for them

this topic is abt those who r interested and cldnt make it

I see only Madhavan who is hanging around...but that too because he likes to act in selective movies irrespective of the language...And I think he has a decent following in north and is well respected by the audience...Sidharth majorly focuses on Telugu and so are the others who are seen in one odd hindi movies...

If south Indian male stars are not liked by the north, then why are their movies popular amongst the north Indians??? Recently I went to Haridwar and came across someone who wouldn't stop talking about Mahesh babu and Pawan Kalyan and the other South stars...

Well, i think its the "looks" thing...also, most of them are not totally comfortable with the language so their dialogue delivery gets effected too i believe..i mean, sridevi n hema malini still have heavy SI accents in their hindi even after having worked here for years...

Plus, i think they like to focus more on one particular film industry and be the master of tht instead of being jack of all trades sort of a thing...
Also, the kind of adulation tht some ppl like rajniknath have down the south is huge..Ppl like rana daggubati, mahesh babu, ram charan etc are star sons and they inherited their dad's huge fanbase...so i think therz also a fear of "upsetting the fans" by doing films in other languages tht fans possibly might not get the opportunity to see...

I recently saw this interview of mahesh babu and they were asking him if he was interested in bollywood and he flatout said tht he cannot imagine himself anywhere else apart from the telugu industry and wants to focus his entire energy in making better films/better roles in tht language...he apparently even declined an offer for mani ratnam's next (in tamil) sighting the same reason...

I think they just want to work in languages and industries they are most comfortable in. Like surya only works in tamil...his films get dubbed in other languges...Mahesh babu only works in telugu...prithvi majorly works in malyalam although hes done some tamil movies here n there...each reigon has its own brand of cinema, and i think they are comfortable catering to those discourses.

what looks?? they look better than the bollywood bandars..🤢
and what is Bipasha talking about?? she was the non actor in the movie..

Like I said, I don't think they really tried...We can't just base our judgement on one odd appearance here and there...
