There wasn't this thing called multiplex audience when Tabu used to act in films.That's one of the reasons why she was stuck only with critical acclaim from the critics unlike today where critics are there to appreciate Vidya's acting capabilities but along with that,there is a certain section of the audience who has started accepting such performance oriented films, which was missing when Tabu acted in films.

I miss Tabu onscreen.She is a powerhouse of talent.

I love her she is an amazing actress! truly talented! some of the movies I really loved her in were: Maachis, Cheeni Kum, Astitva and Silsilay! she also had great comic timing! loved her in David Dhawan movies!

dunno lol! however the pics do seem like offscreen/ on the sets pics, these two get along quite well offscreen also! Tabu was invited to Karisma's wedding!

She blends very well in the movies she does.Let it be the short hair character in Hu Tu Tu,to the bar dancer in Chandni Bar,to the average Indian middle class look in Hera Pheri.👏Did she do any films after Cheeni Kum?That was the last film I saw.Though she did some forgettable roles in films like Meenaxi and the other one where a ghost sexually abuses her or something.😕
