Let's settle the Kat-Kareena BO fight !!!

We've been going back and forth over Kat and Kareena starpower...and I propose we settle it once and for all... by simply going over the movies that both did with the NON-KHANS... since everyone pretty much agrees that the Khans are a class on their own... and they don't need anyone to give hits.
we know that if you happen to be in one of their movies, YOU benefit...not the other way around.

As Kareena is a senior actress than Kat...that is... she's been in the industry since 2000 to Kat's 2005, I suggest that we start from the time Kat entered the industry, that will make us start with Boom in 2005 for Kat.


Please Remember ONLY NON-KHANS movies... I'll take Item number appearances as they can be a crowd puller as well.

2005: Boom with Bachchan Sr. = Flop

2006: Humko Deewana Kar Gaye with Akshay = Flop

2007: Namastey London with Akshay = Hit

2007: Apne with Sunny and Bobby Deol = Blockbuster

2007: Welcome with Akshay = Blockbuster

2005: Bewafaa with Akshay = Flop

2005: Dosti: Friends forever: Akshay and Bobby Deol = Below average

2006: 36 China Town with Shahid = above average

2006: Chup chup ke with Shahid = average

2006: Omkara with Ajay = average


Just to clarify, I'm getting the movies BO numbers either at BOI or Wikipedia.

I did both actresses first 5 movies...Anyone cares to take over? we need to settle this issue because I feel that we need to see how each of these actresses stand on their own feet...be it for their looks, acting and non-acting prowess... which one draws more crowds to the theater...which essentially translates to who brings more dough... more mullah... or whatever word you like to use for cash .

2007: Namastey London with Akshay = Hit <reason for this Akshay.Those were his days!

2007: Apne with Sunny and Bobby Deol = Blockbuster <multi-starrer credit doesnt go to Kat!

2007: Welcome with Akshay = Blockbuster = Same reason those were Akshay days!



Team Kareena:

2005: Bewafaa with Akshay = Flop

2005: Dosti: Friends forever: Akshay and Bobby Deol = Below average <credit doenst go to Bebo!

2006: 36 China Town with Shahid = above average

2006: Chup chup ke with Shahid = average

2006: Omkara with Ajay = average < this one was multi-starrer so i will not give credit to Bebo!

The ones with Shahid were success because of Kareena mostly. He was struggling and still is!

Does Imran count as a 'Khan'? I'm asking coz normally when people say "Khans" they are referring to the Aamir-SRK-Salman trio.

But, apart from Shahid, which other "smaller" heroes has Bebo given a hit with? Her movies with Saif, Vivek etc all bombed.
And, if 2007-2009 was Akshay's time, how come Bewaafa, Tashan, Ki crashed?

yeh when someone says THE khans, it dosent include saif, imran, zayed fardeen or kamal R khan...😆

You shoud add Singh is King: Akshay Katrina : Blockbuster (I think this was their biggest grosser together). On Kareena: shes been there longer and as many movies so shes gonna have a skewed hit to miss ratio.

Shahid had a blockbuster with Amrita in a small-budget flick. To give an "Average" movie with Shahid is hardly an achievement
