Actually nothing needed to be discussed. All she had to do was, sign a clause citing anything that happens to her during shooting, only she is fully responsible for it and would've continued with shooting. Believe me, it would've been completed without any menace.

But why are you expecting Madhur to go to her to sign a clause when she didn't even tell him this news personally? She was working for him, with him on this project and she didn't bother to tell him a news, which was going to affect the way, they work? she was very unprofessional, and stuck up in this matter. They could work things out, if she had being truthful, or if she gave him any importance, and wanted to work things out or discuss this matter with him.

Frankly in this whole issue... Timing is the key... Before it was announced to the world Ash shld have taken Madhur into confidence and discussed how they could have handled it better... Now it has become a case of mudslinging against each other when clearly both are at fault, maybe one more than the other... But yes I do blame both of them...
Ok... Ash messed up... i agree... But Madhur too could have gone the extra mile and resolved with her over a cup of coffee or tea at Jalsa and they could have parted on an amicable note...
Instead of that first his writer comes and talks and then he rants on his blog...
And then on the other side Ash as usual has her icy and stoic stance to everything and as usual the family spokesperson is going on and on and talking abt everything under the sun other than the real issue...
This is just widening the rift and leaving a bad taste...

totally agreed.

And the very least she could have done, is personally make a statement, even if she's just gonna blame Madhur.

She should at least do the talking, for the mess that she has created, instead of making her pops-in-law give his phhadu statements

lol maddy, after reading the news somewhere else, I don't expect him to go to her and start talking about it. Madhur is absolutly right here. It doesn't work this way. You shouldn't be allowed to walk all over people no matter you are aish/pregnant or a woman.

simple:its called conscience. god forbid, he asks ash to do something like falling down whole dancing, a pretend slip a la Miss world, and THAT could hurt the baby... who wants THAT on their head...
plus, look how moronic AB sr is behaving right now... what if the shooting took more than 40 days.. in any situation, delays are NOT forseen.. there would be MORE drama then.. and what about promoting the movie.. as the "heroine" its her JOB to promote the movie and fill seats in the threatre... will she be able to do it??? what about editing and possible re-shooting??
and Madhur said, 40-45 days, on the knowledge that Ash was healthy ie NOT pregnant... a pregnant woman tires easily and has to take precautions and rest for the sake of the baby.. not a chance in hell, movie will finish in 45 days...
madhur was right in calling off shooting till this mess is sorted out... ash was sooo wrong in hiding the truth.

Again, her body in Cannes was one that Madhur could work with but probably also expected her to shape up for Heroine. Shape up a lot more. Aishwarya is a beautiful woman but she has certainly gotten bigger, and this is a harsh industry. If your going to represent a 'face' that millions will love you need to follow the rules the masses lay out, and especially for a film like this one.
I feel as though madhur probably expected the shoot to lengthen but just made some bakwas announcment about it being 40 days.
There are things about this whole situation that are murky, i can't say i support Aishwarya on this one, she made a very bad call, but i think madhur could have salvaged the project or atleast i hope he still does.

If he expected her to shape up and lose a 15 pounds, he would've told her. And Ash, in her state would've flatly refused it citing her state. But that clearly didn't happen considering how she showed up on the first day of the shoot. Her body looked the same just as in Cannes. That means her weight was clearly not a problem.

However, in his latest interview, Madhur said he is not in a state to imagine this film with anyone else other than Aishwarya. Also rumours are on that he will be making DTBHJ 2 next and Heroine later when she is back.

I have a strong gut feeling that matters would be resolved. Plus, the kind of publicity the movie generated, I would be surprised if UTV wouldn't capitalize on it.

Mudde Ke baat Hai-Ash knew she was preggy before signing the film. But she didn't tell Madhur because she wanted to do the film. And Amitji just twitted about the pregnancy before Buddha Hoga Baap release to gain publicity. He thought Madhur will never replace Ash as she is Bachchan. But everything went wrong when Madhur spoke against the Bachchans. But I am happy that Madhur has the guts to speak gainst Bachchan.

I think she didn't tell Madhur for one simple reason: If she told the director before she passes her saftety 3 months period and what if it gets leaked (like it usually does) and then god-forbid she got miscarried? The media would've ripped her apart. I'm sure she didn't want it to be discussed which is why she didn't divulge the fact.
