But that came much later.. hwo knew her before hum dil de chuke sanam??? she only had aa ab laut chalein, jeans and 2 tamil movies to her credit.. it was Salman who got her into the movie.. she rose to fame with HDDCS, and then he recommended her to thousand other production houses.. and then her low time came again when she was with Vivek and then again she rose to fame with being linked to Abhishek.. so technically she was a no one before a Khan was attached to her she was only a miss world.. and there are thousands of miss worlds who were miss worlds and today are no where..

Yes, I 100% agree that Salman had a big influence on HDDCS being a major hit! But, her acting was the major attraction and also Ajay was there as well! But, she never did a movie with Salman again and came with Shahrukh after. But, I am glad she developed a successful pairing with Hritik because I found their chemistry the best! So, in a way, destiny calls for something unique! Also, I am glad Aish got to experiment a little bit with international movies as well! Otherwise, she would have suffered the SRK-Chopra-Johar syndrome! 😆

i dnt really think that she is a great actress or sumthing.. she is extremly overrated in my honest opinion.. but our opinions can always differ.. so if u ask me.. where she is today she doesnt deserve to be there..

You are entitled to your opinion! 😉 I hold no grudges against anyone who hates Aish. In fact, I will admit (and I am a Aish fan) that she only excels in the big-budget, lavish, and performance oriented roles. I did not like her acting in Dhoom 2, Robot, or Bride and Prejudice. Commercial films are not her cup of tea! I prefer her in films like Devdas, Jodhaa Akbar, Guru, Guzaarish, Raincoat, etc. She has proven time and time again that big directors need to extract the performance out of her! Whether it is a Bhansali, Ratnam, Gowariker, Ghosh, etc. I wish Aish could do a commercial masala film and be natural! But, hey, one cannot excel at everything! She has managed to act good in quite a few films, despite the limitations with commercial films! 😊
