Kareena had much more screen time in her film. Katrina rarely had any. Its not fair to nominate her when other actresses clearly had a much greater role. I personally didn't like Kareena in 3 Idiots. I felt that had another actress portrayed the role, it would have been better. But Kareena was given that role and the audience has learned to accept it that way. Exactly, I don't like these film awards that much I only watch the performances now Kareena was amazing in 3 Idiots I don't agree with Kareena being the wrong choice I think she was the perfect choice.

I honestly was expecting a lot from Katrina in Raajneeti. I think it's commendable that she has learned hindi but seriously, it's time to get over that. Why should she be applauded for saying a few lines with a straight face? That is not called a performance. She is very popular but in terms of acting and delivering good performances, she has miles to go. How can she be a Kajol or Rani when she's not even a Kareena or PC yet? But I think she was just about okay in the film..good for her. But, IMO, nothing award worthy. Anyways, awards in bollywood are a joke.

Come to think of it, there has not been many good - let alone great - acting coming from the actresses this year (same goes for the actor, but that is best left for another topic). I think I will scream if I see Kajol bagging another award, because in my opinion, she clearly does not deserve it. I found her performance in both WAF and MNIK to be mediocre at best. Certainly not a path breaking, or even an award-worthy one. Kareena doesn't deserve one for WAF either, and I don't see her even being nominated for G3. Priyanka was just average in AA, but she might have a shot with SKM (Vishal, c'mon), but her role might be nominated for the best actress in a negative role rather than the leading one. Vidya (Ishqiya) seems to be the only decent contender for the award, but I really don't see her winning, considering her fan-base is so small. Besides, she won it in the last year, which might work against her. Rani is out of the equation too, if that Jessica movie doesn't work well, that is. But even then, I think she will be nominated for the supporting actress. So we are left with Aishwariya. If Guzaarish does well, then she has the highest chance of winning, considering her last win was in 2002, and she has been pretty consistent in the last few years, delivering both critical and commercial successes. So I am putting my bet on Ash.

POH, Rani is out for this year. NOKJ releases next year. 😭

You shouldnt compare kareena in 3 Idiots to Kat in Rajneeti. Becuase even in a light hearted film like 3 Idiots, Kareena made a mark. When she was given the chance, she dominated her scenes. Dhokla faafda, was one of the recognized scenes of 3 Idiots. And little details highlight the sign of a good actress. Voice modulation, dialogue delivery, mastery over expression. Kareena excelled in all those aspects in that ONE scene over katrina in an entire movie. Her dorky expressions were bang on. THat said, she didnt deserve best actress for 3 Idiots.

I also don't think Katrina should be nominated for an award for her role in Rajneeti. She just does not deserve it. Nor does anyone else really .. I can't recall a good actress oriented film all year. I'm hoping Aishwarya's bagging all the awards this year with a good performance in Guzaarish, but we'll see how that works out!

But I'll let it pass because she got jipped for her performance in kurbaan which was splendid, just coz the movie didnt do well.

And you know its kinda sad that comedy is so underrated.

Kareena in WAF was stricly OK. I was very disappointed in that film AND her performance.

But Kareena in Golmaal 3 was quite a dhamaakedaar performance.

She really put her heart into it, you can tell. And biggest reason, she's not just a mere prop who pops up every 5 scenes.

Kareena has hte max screentime in the film. She's on par with Ajay, Mithun in the movie.

what r u saying desu, i so loved kareena in WAF. I think the only actress who can share the screen space with kajol and not get dominated by kajol is there, Kareena kapoor

i loved her in WAF and 3I was just awesome. every scene where she was it was just awesome, not just that dokhla faafda scene but even other scenes like when she meets rancho for 1st time, when rancho breaks her illusion about suhas, those were just superb

kurbaan, i don't even need to say a single word to describe how superb she was, an absolutely amazing performance from kareena

for what? im sorry but i rly dont understand what she would get nominated for? sure if they have an empty space then they might put her name in jus to fill it..i mean i once saw they nominated her for singh is king

i wish kat had copied sonia ji more prominently and in better way, the character could have been kat's best performance

bichari sonia ji ne raajneeti dekhi ya nahi, dekhi hogi toh unko toh zor ka jhatka laga hoga

she will be nominated for sure n can get one 2 as the award r given unpredictably !!!😛
