Hhaha.. i feel the same way about Hritik.. i can imagine him being emo on the stage and winning the award and his father and his family crying tears of joy.. i don't know if anyone has noticed.. but roshan family goes sooo emo whenever hritik wins.. its like filmfare na jeet liya koi pahaad utha liya.. 🤣 Atleast when Srk wins for crappy performance.. he himself says it.. yaar mein kyun jiya.. i don't want both of them to win... I know abhi's jhig jhig jhig... 🤣 poor guy..i feel sorry for him.. i think he is gonna win a lot of golden kela aka razzis this year.. 😆

Btw guzaarish's 4th dialogue promo has come out... it looks ok.. I would admit that the dilogue promos are much more encouraging than the theratrical promo.. but still i am not sure about this movie..

Altho the more i am seeing the better hritik's performance is seeming to be.. but i am scared after the disaster of kites..

I agree with the comments posted by Chatpati and Desu :) My answer would also be no. nominations should be given to those that have stood out and made a mark with their performance. Nominations should not be handed out on the basis of improvement. That really defeats the purpose of acknowledging someone's work. It sounds very jeuvenille to nominate an actor/actress simply because he/she has improved in the acting department. That is also very unfair to other nominees. If they want, they can come up with a "special" category in which they highlight improvement. God knows how many categories have already been made to appease pple. They might as well add another one!

At the same time, I do feel that Katrina has improved in her acting and that was evident in Rajneeti. But that is NOT why we have awards. It should be for given for those performances that are outstanding, not mediocre. Then again, if she was nominated for SIK, then I wouldn't be surprised if we see one for Rajneeti. But Desi awards have lost credibility over the yrs, for sure. At the end of the day, whether a film is a hit or a flop, an actor/actress that is a DESERVING nominee, should be awarded.

Yes of course Kat deserves to win the filmfare award. Infact I would say she deserves the national award, the Oscar, the golden globe and the Baftas.
It's not very often you see actress performing such a complex role that involves mouthing extremely difficult 4-5 lines, appear in 2-3 songs and wave their hands 6-7 times.

Its not elementary school that grades are given for effort and encouragement.

So IMO, Katrina's performance in Rajneeti does not deserve a nomination.

But all said and done like the previous years she will defintely get a nomination.

TOI Group need her presence for the unveiling of the Filmfare Awards, for her song and dance routine at the awards, etc.

The list of nominees I am guessing would be Ash, Kajol, Kareena, Vidya, Katrina. PC has a good chance too with SKM coming up.

The winner could be Kajol ( Like SRK and Hrithik, if she is in the nominations then others have a very low chance of winning) or if something changes this year then Vidya has a good chance(she was very good in Ishqiya) and Maybe Ash too depending on her performance in Guzaarish.

Marney ki petition--- so it's true. It is like The Sea Inside 😳 It was a gr8 gr8 movie. Now I'm not too sure about Guzarish. I looks like a rip off of The Sea Inside and The prestige.
