oh wow... i should have guessed this debate would go this way...

ash definitely has achieved quite a lot, so it's not fair to undermine her achievements...

i think she is a good actress... of course, people's views would vary... she obviously can act and has won a lot of critical acclaim as well... she has had a great inning and is counted among the top actresses of our times... like many other actors, she also needs a good director to get the best from her... :)

she is happily married now, has a loving hubby and doting in-laws... she seems quite content to me... normally, the feeling of content comes with achievement... :) i'm sure, from ash's point of view, she has achieved it all... and despite what others say, she is much more known in the international circles than some of the other mainstream bollywood actresses.. it's a fact...!!

rani and preity also have enjoyed their share of success... in the world of glamour, nothing is temporary... there was an era of madhuri, and before that sridevi... so just because madhuri came and sri retired, does that undermine sri's accomplishments...? no...!! people will come and people will go, but ash will always be remembered.... so will rani, preity and kareena...

i don't understand why there is a need to undermine someone else's achievements to highlight your own favourite... that concept never made sense to me....

kareena has some great roles, so has priyanka, and so has rani, preity, ash and kajol...

achievement is not only measured by success in bollywood... maybe guzarish will be her last big movie, i can't say... that hardly matters... she has already enjoyed great innings in bollywood and has made a place for herself... :)

and why shouldn't she...?? fact is that she was thrown unceremoniously out of a movie of no fault of hers... rani took her role (which is fine) but as a friend, she never cared to inform ash... so i am not surprised... from their own point of views, they are probably correct in their stance, but i think they should have at least informed ash...

in any case... how does that mean that ash is 'talking crap' about other actresses...?? if anything, ash is one of the most dignified personalities we have in bollywood and she is too politically correct to 'talk crap' about others...!!

you might be a fan of someone else, but that should not take away the objectivity from some of the facts, should it... ;)

Its always gonna be Aish fans defending her and Rani fans defending her. I am NOT taking sides, BUT at the same time RANI is not be blamed for the incident! I'm not saying Aish is to be blamed. NO ONE is to be blamed. We don't know exactly what happened there on the sets. You can't just say Rani's at fault.

But because Aish started giving the cold shoulders to Rani (which was so unprofessional like) to Rani, even the Bachans have begun to do so. 🤢

cpr, i am not an ash fan, i should tell you... nor am i a rani fan... i do like both the actresses individually... i am not blaming rani... just saying, that it is not unsurprising that they both had a fall out... you would too, if someone did that to you... it's human nature...

how does that make ash unprofessional...? she is not 'talking crap' about other actresses as you put it earlier in your post (which would count as a biased view), because ash never 'talks crap' about other actresses...

everyone can't get along with everyone else... specially, when they have a history... things are not so simple always... i don't think it's right to start handing out the blame cards... :)
