if she gets a good director then she can pull it off nicely

With upcoming roles in films for Shyam Benegal and Vishal Bhadwarj, as well as Raj Kumar Santoshi, I predict these films will give her at least a few more memorable performances! 😉

It depends on what Aish wanted to achieve for herself - professionally & personally and what does mean "all" for her and for the audience?

She has international fame - starred in some good movies - left an impact as one of the best Paro - she endorses brands and is paid for it - 15 million of dollars for an american movie....

It's very good.

But she has a lot of flops in her career - she didn't star in any successful movie out of India - she's known as "the most beautiful woman" and so what....? (yeah it's still better than me lol)

Yes she has achieved a lot in terms of earning BIG money --- with a good director and script she can do wonders but she fails to choose good projects these years.

And the vibe I get from her itws abroad is that like almost ALL beauty pagent QUEENS - she has to speak perfect - look perfect - eat perfect - smile perfect - lie perfect - relax...you're human - it's alright to make mistakes and to look common sometimes too...

You just can't compare kat with aish. Aish has given a powerful role Hum dil de ... her dancing and acting was mindblowing. I find kat don't know how to act or dance but at least these days she's learning to become good. Aish was amazing from the start, her first movie, the dances were nothing I have ever seen in bollywood.

To me Aish is part of the dream girls in bollywood. She won miss world, enter bollywood, made hit movies and flop movies didn't effect her. She was named the most beautiful woman in the world. Got internationally famous and did some powerful women oriented movies. She represented India in an internationally tv shows like Oprah who an indian actress never been there.

She'll always be the most beautiful actress that I have ever seen. And I think she achieve it all in bollywood. To be a great actress, be beautiful, be powerful and do meaningful roles is what her achievement are.

Katrina has to do ome meaningful role and the movie that would be on her shoulder.

I agree with that. Kat is riding high on these days but it's been what 3 years, she's been on the top. Aish has been around since 1994 and her name is still being mention. She made hits movies until 2008 since Jodha akbar was released in 2008. In 2009, she made Pink Panther, I don't know if the movie did well or not but it was everywhere in the tv shows being talked about and aish was the main reason although she had a small role in it.

i agree!!! I think she's one of those ppl who had a rough phase in 2004-2005..then Dhoom 2 happened! But one of the main reasons she didn't disappear is b/c of her international fame...she was in PP2 and it wasn't a success, but she still shared the limelight w/Steve and Jean(the french actor)...and there's rumors that she might do ben stiller's next and sorcese's next! I think she has achieved a lot, especially for being a woman in the INDIAN industry...where women used to stop working when they got married or turned a certain age! I'm glad her box office is still so high!

I don't think you can compare Madhubala and Ash and Ash and Kat b/c one is the past and she's a legend! The second will always be remembered even from a 100 yrs from...Indian ppl and ppl abroad will remember her as the Most beautiful woman in the world! Hopefully she'll be remembered as a good actress, but realistically it seems like ppl will only care about her beauty! And Kat is the future...it's taking her longer to be more meaty roles---but i think she's playing it a little safe! I don't want to discuss her career choices b/c that's not the topic! But it's unfair to compare them to each other b/c all are different and unique and exquisitely beautiful!

its unfair to judge anyone's acting if he/she acts in serious or art cinema.....ex: kajol had not done any art or serious cinema but still her acting is considered good............if the actor is good then it doesnt matter whether it is masala or romantic or action or comedy films...........kareena/ash has done more serious films than kajol so it doesnt mean they r better than kajol........

well said! i also think an actor should be versatile and do a variety of roles...and a good actor will be one can should the most variety while being consistent...like Aamir Khan in the males and Tabu in females!
