LOL!!! That's waht I find so weird as well!

Come on, who are you to judge who saif is happy with and who he isnt, who he will go with, and who he wont.

If he's happy (and he screams it from teh rooftops, lol) and his own MOTHER says she's never seen saif happier, then who are YOU to judge that kareena isnt right for him?

He's doing well personally, his career's going great, just sit back, relax, and be happy for him.

YOu have no right over his actions, lol.

Saif doestn owe anything to hsi fans except entertaining them via his movies and being ashonest as possible when puting himself across in interviews. Beyond that, they dont hold any right over him, lol.

I actually had one of his fans (the really obsessive kareena haters)PM me, and had the insolence to say, "Please leave saif alone"

WTF?

First of all...umm...NO, lol.

SEcond...I'm not kareena, so how am I even with him to leave him alone?

That actually made me like saif even more, the fact that some idiots thinks she holds a monopoly over him. Suddenly, his temptation went by even HIGHER 😃😆

Exactly - he twists around everything in his recent interviews. So when people say Shahid is putting on "a seedha-saadha natak" I have to say it isn't him, it is just some people who confuse Shahid Kapoor with Aditya Kashyap 😆.

Desu, I think RK fans and Saif Fans would LOVE each other. Their worldviews and attitude towards their favourites seem so similar. His fans actually talk about how the fact that his fans hate Deepika should matter to Ranbir and he should consider their feelings too. Yeah ok, watch his films and don't take your "feelings" too seriously now. 😆

Even Aditya Kashyap wasnt that sweet. They think of him as Prem from Vivah.

Every thing he says has a deeper meaning to it. So far, I'm 55% successful in cracking his smart statements.

I'm surprised that saif's fans havnent made me LOATHE him. Quite hte opposite.

I mean that man has quite an impact that i'm resisting his fans' ugly attitude and still continue to hold saif separate from his fans...thank god!
Though some saif fans are pretty awesome! Its just the main ones that are dominant are just BAD.

Just one day, I wish saif visits his forum and READS what those girls right about kareena. I'm just curious to know what he'll think of em.

Seriously Geet, there are plenty of kareean fans who are iffy about saif as well. But htey know better than to go on a rampage of fury and start to shred him down for no reason. Because kareena's fans know that saif and kareena are in it together. You cant blame one without blaming the other. If saif gives a stupid statement today, we know that kareena will give three tomorrow, and then saif will follow it up with 3 more 😆

We sorta get mad at BOTH OF THEM. Her fans dont discriminate against Saif alone.

If Kareena's being silly, thens he's being silly. Why should we blame saif for her actions?

@Desu: I think the best decision I made was to quit RKF. I like Ranbir now too. I don't even know any Deepika fan who actually dislikes Ranbir really, maybe except for Tani. We definitely don't call him names and badmouth him. Even their fanclub is mostly filled with Deepika fans. 😆

Prem from Vivaah - ok that makes more sense Riya. Can't stand that film. Atleast Spicezee made some good use of those clips though. 🤣

on a related note, i was the subject of an internet war of words myself.. a local art website did a small review of my show last month..and the site lets people comment on the "review" under neath the article..and some dude dissed it saying how the "reviewer" was just kissing my behind with his wonderful choice of words etc and that for the "review basher" (for a lack of a better word) it was just bunch of random imagery and how the local artists and art students are bunch of pretentious "hippies" etc..

and then the OP replied and bunch of ppl chimed in.. it reminded me of this forum..btw i didn't reply, cuz that would have been majorly tacky

This feeling that you "know" or "understand" these people and their proclivities, and feel protective towards them and only want the "best" (as defined by you, the fan) for them. I don't think hardcore fans merely take an impersonal interest in the work of their favorite stars. If that is all they were interested in, noone would ever read any interviews with any of the stars. After all, why do we need to know their views on anything to appreciate their acting? The purpose is to know more about the "real" person, and that necessarily implies that we form opinions about what the star in question is like, and what (in our opinion) fits or doesn't fit with their personality. It is this feeling of familiarity and emotional investment in the star that drives fans to buy products that the celebrity endorses, or watch their every release first day first show.

^I guess I never became a fan to that extent then. I read interviews to learn more about their opinions or I am just interested in knowing more about them. But where does the jump happen from "knowing more about them" to "knowing what is right for them" is what I am curious about?

Your explanation seems plausible, but I guess personally I don't think you can really know what a person is like just by reading/watching their interviews. Stars usually try to project a certain image in their press interactions and there is a lot going on in their lives which we are obviously oblivious to. I think even the hardcore fans sometimes must wonder how well they really *know* their favourites? There must be some seeds of doubt?
