I posted the link above. The guy that played the role Arun from the crime patrol link that I posted above. He acted on lot of crime patrol and Savdhan India episodes but his name is not well known. I had to Google his pictures to find his name because Crime Patrol and Savdhan India doesn’t really reveal actors actresses real name. His last name is Dave and I heard mostly Gujarati people has that last name but Marathi people also has that last name. That’s why I thought he is probably a Gujarati actor. Here is an audition video and another crime patrol episode of him. He acts well though and he is quite good looking. Better than Bollywood heroes.

If Bollywood have so many actors from one culture, then how other culture actors will get chance?

Amitabh is not Punjabi. He is from U.P and that makes Abhishek half UPite and half Bengali. Rajni's real name is Shivaji Rao Gaikwad.

And Amitji's family name is Srivastava (Bachchan was his father's pen-name)...however, Amitji's mother was Punjabi.

Coming back to the question, I think it's because Gujratis tend to focus more on pursuing financially stable jobs rather than thinking about entering the entertainment industry.

They look lot similar. Their culture might be different but they share lot of similarities. The people that are completely different from Punjabi people are South Indian people and Northeastern Indian people. I agree that Gujaratis focus on better jobs and they are more into business. Most of the NRI’s that I meet in US are usually Gujaratis. They are very hard working people but still I wonder why there are no big stars currently in Bollywood from Gujarat.

Because they are either acting in tv shows or producing it.

While it's true most actors are punjabi, atleast from one side- Ranveer isn't one of them. He's a Sindhi Sikh. Not all Sikhs are Punjabi and not all Punjabis are Sikhs. Ethnicity and religion are two different things.
