Omkar:Humne toh usse shagun ke thor par saree dee hain na?

Radha:Toh kya hua?Yeh tumhare taraf se dena usse,theekh hai?(Omkar looked at Geeta who smiled at him)Jaldi aa jaana..(Radha left from there)

Omkar:Geeta,main woh..I'm really sorry,Geeta!!

Geeta:Aap kyun sorry bol rahe ho?Yeh shayad Bharti par zyaada achi rahegi..Main iss salwaar mein hi theekh hoon..Aap neeche aa jaayiye..

Omkar:Haan..aa jaaonga..(Geeta left from there while Omkar felt so damn irritated)Arrey maine aur Mohit ne milkar jaa kar khareed liya tha yeh salwaar aur woh bhi bohat saare dukaan jaane ke baad hi mila tha yeh salwaar..Aur ab dekho?Mujhe isse Bhar-ti ko dena hai!!Damn it!!!

Avantika:Kya hua bhaiyya?Aapke chehra itna uthra huwa kyun hai?

Omkar:All because of radha bua...

Avantika:Woh upar aayi thi?I mean,maine toh unhe neeche rehne ke liye kaha tha..

Omkar:(pasted a fake smile on his face)Acha,toh woh upar kaise aa gayi?Hamesha aise hi hoti hai..Jab bhi tumhari bhabhi ke liye kuch le kar aata hoon toh yeh Radha bua aa jaati hai,na jaana kaha se..Aur sab kisi aur ko deti hai...Kabhi naukrani,kabhi unki beti ke liye aur kabhi khud ke liye...Bewajaa main hi kharcha karta rehta hoon..Aur ab mujhe yeh pack karke Bharti ko dena hai shagun ke thor par..

Avantika:KYA?

Omkar:Chup kar..koi sunn lega..

Avanitka:Bhaiyya,this is so not fair!!

Omkar:Par tumhari bhabhi ko koi shikaayat hai hi nahin...

Avantika:Bhaiyya,seriously!!Ek din main kuch aise kar baitungi aur woh karke mujhe koi regrets nahin hogi..Sarr par naachthi rehthi hai...

Omkar:Lo,Maa tumhe bulaa rahi hai!!Dekh,apna mu bandh rakh,theekh hai?Yeh Armaan kaha hai?

Avantika:Lagta hai woh tayyar ho raha hai...

Omkar:Acha,ek kaam kar...Tum khud ke pack karna..Mujhse dekha nahin jaayega!!Sunn,yehi salwaar pack karna,samjhi??(Avantika looked elsewhere but Omkar knew his lil sis and pulled her ear)

Avantika:Ouchh bhaiyya!!Kya kar rahe ho?

Omkar:Kasam khaa ki tum sirf yehi pack karoge..Jaldi karo!!

Avantika:Bhaiyyaa...mann toh bilkul nahin kar raha hai...

Omkar:Apni Geeta bhi ki kasam!!

Avantika:Theekh hai bhaiyya!!Yehi pack karungi..Khush??(Omkar initially shook his head but smiled and patted Avantika's head)yeh Radha bua bhi na...Pehle yeh pack kar thi hoon,uske baad kapde badla kar Maa se milungi..

After Avantika got changed,she brought the wrapped box to Omkar downstairs while she attended to the guests who were present.She looked around and wondered where Armaan was.She assumed that he was still in his room upstairs and went towards his room.

~Meanwhile~

Armaan helped Bharti in tying the dori of her saree blouse.Armaan secretly glanced at bharti who looked at him from the mirror in front of her.After tying the dori neatly,Armaan helped adorn the mangalsutra around Bharti's neck.For a second or so,Bharti closed her eyes for she felt the cold mangalsutra being worn around her bare neck,since their room was air-conditioned.Bharti opened her eyes and saw Armaan looking at her.He raised his eyebrows and Bharti shook her head,smiling subtly.Bharti was about to leave from there but Armaan held onto her pinky finger and Bharti stopped.Her eyes moved ins ync,following Armaan's eyes.While his eyes were filled with happiness,Bharti's eyes grew anxious,seeing him coming close to her.

Armaan:Something is missing,Bharti..

Bharti:What?(turned to look at the mirror and in the midst of that,Bharti's hair swirled,touching Armaan's face)

Armaan:(smiled flirtishly at her)Mil gaya..

Bharti:Kya?

Armaan:Aankhen band karo..Bandh karo!!(Bharti closed her eyes and Armaan gently placed the sindoor on Bharti's forehead)

Bharti opened her eyes instantly and saw the crimson red sindoor on her forehead.Armaan gently whispered,"Everything's perfect now and so are you" and Bharti just smiled.Armaan almost kissed Bharti's hair but just then,both of them heard a knock on the door.

Avantika:Ahem...Aap dono abhi tak yaha ho?Jaldi karo,sab log dhundh rahi hai..Aur yeh kya..

Bharti:Kya hua?

Avantika:Bhabhi,aapki mu dikhaayi ki rasam hai..Pehle yeh dupatta rakhiye aapke sarr ke upar..

Bharti:Ohh...(smiled widely)

Avanitka:Ji,kya mian inhe neeche le chal sakthi hoon??

Armaan:Yeah sure..

Avantika:Aapki bohat meherbaani hai..

Armaan:Chutki,badmaash kahi ki!!

Avantika:Aap bhi chalo..(armaan messed up Avantika's hair a little but stopped upon heairng their Bauji announcing his and Bharti's name;Avantika made silly faces at Armaan in the midst of that)

Both of them sat down beside each other on the brown-coloured sofa and the guests surrounded them.The ladies were very much eager to see bharti's face,Armaan could literally hear the whispers of some ladies who stood behind him,the voices filled with growing excitement.Eventually,Armaan raised Bharti's red translucent dupatta,which was covering her face,and placed it on her forehead.Bharti looked at Armaan and smiled at him.Ther mutual gaze had not been for long as they got interrupted by Radha.

Radha:Yeh kya hai,Chutki?Bahu ne koi zewer nahin pehni hai?

Avantika:(murmured to herself)Lo,shuru ho gayi!!

Radha:Tumne hi Bharti ko sajaaya tha na?

Avantika:Actually radha bua,woh maine socha ki jab Geeta bhabhi ko..

Radha:Tumhari geeta bhabhi mein aur Bharti bhabhi mein bohat farq hai..Jao,jaa kar sajaa kar le aao..

Avantika was getting super pissed off with Radha but she looked at Omkar who placed his finger on his lips, asking of her to stay calm and composed,hence she controlled herself.Avantika brought Bharti to her room upstairs and adorned a lot of jewelleries around Bharti's neck.Bharti initially refused for she was already feeling hot and itchy but Avantika asked her to wear it for the ceremony and after that,she could take them off and keep them safely and thus,Bharti agreed.

Soon,Bharti came downstairs and sat beside Armaan.Avantika didn't even want to stand near Radha and stood alone at a corner,only to be accompanied by Omkar and Mohit.They watched how Bharti stood to accept the gifts from the relatives one by one and Bharti was told to seek their blessings by touching their feet.Bharti thought that she only had to do this for a couple of times but there were so many relatives and she practically got fed up of the whole seeking-blessings-by-touching-the-feet ceremony.After that,she sat and murmured to Armaan in irritation.
