Abhay, Rani padmini was realted to Chittor. Is Rani Padmni+M P family were realtives. Means, their past generation was connected with realtion wise.eachother

I am not really sure. ..Some say that jb did go to vrindavan as she was a krishna devotee but mp n ajabde got her back...n mostly she was thr at the time of us death...us declared jagmal to be his successor on his death bed...history doesn't say mp n ajabde was seperated...In fact amar singh was born with in 1-1.5 yrs of their wedding. ..mp became a father when he was 19...cv s got the math wrong is all I can say...

Jagmaal was not competent to come to the throne, but that does not mean he was good for nothing. Actually, Royal Princes are trained in warfare, same was the case here. Jagmaal was never as good as Maharana Pratap, but nonetheless was trained. It is not possible to generalize him as incompetent. :)

The show is portraying him in excessive wrong manner. Infact, they have made a mockery of him, by showing all that senseless stuff like dressing as a woman and all. It is another natkiya rupanter, i must say.

Yes the tale of Rani Padmini of Chittor is widely spoken even today in Rajasthan. She is SAID to be the wife of Rawal Ratan Singh, who did Jauher during the FIRST Siege of Chittor in 1300's. You can read the short story in brief on the blog. It was discussed by Radhika and me. Link-1 Link-2
